Absolutely lovely hotel.
Pros:

We booked this hotel after leaving our previous one that was not very nice and we were blown away by how nice the hotel was. The staff were lovely and greeted us on arrival and even took our bags to our room for us while we filled in the check in paperwork.
The room was massive and we had lots of space to fully open both of our suitcases and still walk around.
The bathroom was also massive and the shower gel and shampoo they provided smelled lovely.
Even the breakfast that was included in the stay was very nice aswell.

Elegant, comfortable hotel in the heart of Menteng, a rare find in busy Jakarta
Pros:

Great location, close to everything. Menteng is one of the few places in Jakarta I like, in that it still retains the charm of historic Jakarta, trees still line the streets, and it is relatively safe. Breakfast in the hotel was fine, but you had to get there early, closer to 6-7am, otherwise most of it was gone by 9-10am. The restaurant menu offered up some really delicious Indonesian food for dinner, which was convenient when I was too tired to go out. My room was large, comfortable, and the sheets were divinely clean and smelled great, I slept extremely well every night. Hotel staff is also very accommodating and moved me to another room when I complained about the construction noise next door. The hotel itself is very charming and comfortable, and the staff very courteous and friendly. I would definitely stay here again another time.

Cons:

They allow smoking in the bar, which was disappointing, since it would have been nice to relax there after a long day, but since smoking is allowed pretty much everywhere in Indonesia, it wasn't surprising.

I really enjoyed my stay at Des Indes Hotel!
Pros:

It’s a very cute boutique hotel. It is clean, the location is very convenient. The staffs are friendly. Definitely, I’ll go back to stay there, when I come back to Jakarta.

Cons:

I didn’t eat the breakfast there. I wish they have more varieties.

Pros:

Un hotel con mucho encanto. El hotel tiene el encanto de otros tiempos, una decoracion exquisita con el tono del hotel. Nos subieron las maletas a la habitacion, q eso ya da mucho gusto. En las habitaciones no se puede fumar, pero hay algún smoker corner dentro del edificio y en el desayuno, hay una zona para fumadores. Buen desayuno bufé, mucho desayuno asiatico. La habitacion muy amplia y el baño tambien, la cama enorme y super comoda.. El personal muy agradable. Cuando llegamos por la noche enfrente habia un mercado de comida local callejera. Por la mañana no estaba

Amazing stay in Jakarta close to city center.
Pros:

Big room. Clean with all facilities. Peaceful. Nice staff. Clean bathroom with comfortable shower and all the utilities. Quiet and residential area.
