Ten eerste diverse shopping Mall,s zijn vlakbij in de buurt voor ons een kwartier wandelen, met de taxi dus maar een kleine afstand.
Ten tweede de roomservice was top elke dag een zeer strak opgemaakte beden en geweldig hotelschone kamer

Hotel is oud, waardoor de kamers gehorig zijn, en de koffie en thee bij het ontbijt bestaat uit een potje koffie of thee op een warmhoud plaatje dat zou beter kunnen

Kraan lekte in mijn kamer waardoor de vloer steeds nat was, maar dag werd wel opgelost

Well located. Nice decor and comfortable.
Our reservations were for garden facing rooms but we were given rooms facing the noisy street.
We asked for extra water and they charged double the rate that street vendors sell it at.
We had dinner in the restaurant and were the only people there the single person providing service kept disappearing making it extremely difficult to order anything for example drinks while waiting for our meals or dessert after. We had to ask the front desk twice to locate the waiter.
For some reason each time the rooms were cleaned they would replace the two coffees but leave only one powdered milk. They were very obliging however when asking for more.
Great location, quiet room (but you have to ask to change the room if they gave you a room with noise outside). The room is spacious.

We booked this hotel after leaving our previous one that was not very nice and we were blown away by how nice the hotel was. The staff were lovely and greeted us on arrival and even took our bags to our room for us while we filled in the check in paperwork.
The room was massive and we had lots of space to fully open both of our suitcases and still walk around.
The bathroom was also massive and the shower gel and shampoo they provided smelled lovely.
Even the breakfast that was included in the stay was very nice aswell.
Great location, close to everything. Menteng is one of the few places in Jakarta I like, in that it still retains the charm of historic Jakarta, trees still line the streets, and it is relatively safe. Breakfast in the hotel was fine, but you had to get there early, closer to 6-7am, otherwise most of it was gone by 9-10am. The restaurant menu offered up some really delicious Indonesian food for dinner, which was convenient when I was too tired to go out. My room was large, comfortable, and the sheets were divinely clean and smelled great, I slept extremely well every night. Hotel staff is also very accommodating and moved me to another room when I complained about the construction noise next door. The hotel itself is very charming and comfortable, and the staff very courteous and friendly. I would definitely stay here again another time.
They allow smoking in the bar, which was disappointing, since it would have been nice to relax there after a long day, but since smoking is allowed pretty much everywhere in Indonesia, it wasn't surprising.
