Club Quarters, Times Square - Midtown

Great location, close to the theatre and shopping districts and subway stations but away from the crowded streets. Cafe’s and a Starbucks are conveniently located a few doors from the hotel.

Hotel is basic with just enough amenities to cover our needs. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and shower water was hot.

Excellent service. Very personable and friendly staff.

The room was not very spacious, and the bathroom and shower were extremely small. Considering the price we paid, the room was definitely not worth the cost. The attitude of the staff at check-in was also not very welcoming.

The only positive thing about the hotel was its location.

I would not stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to others.

For business travels to the City the perfect stay. Had a quiet room towards the back. The central location is great and staff very friendly, complementary filtered water, coffee and tea available 24/7. Would book again next time!

I stayed at the Club Quarters Hotel in early August with my 18 year old daughter. It was the first leg of our travels so we wanted to start our journey off well. The location was great, and the room was clean, comfortable, recently renovated, and very spacious considering the size of rooms you typically get in NYC - also very reasonably priced in comparison to most Midtown hotels.

One slight problem we had was from noise. It wasn't general street noise but a constant hum from a generator, which made it hard for myself to sleep. I called down to reception at around 10pm on our first night and was surprised when the manager answered. He was very understanding to my plight and, since it was too late for us to be moved that night, offered to move us to a quieter room the next day. The staff at reception were also incredibly helpful, providing us with a sleep machine and sleep kits. I never once felt like a nuisance or a complainer. The staff were incredible, which largely contributed to my positive experience. Would 100% recommend.

I am pleasantly surprised by the friendliness at the reception and the service.
I also appreciate the comfort and spaciousness of the standard room.

Always a pleasure to stay at the hotel. The service, location, amenities are awesome. And the cappuccino machine is back, what can be better..? Been coming to the hotel for 15 years and will continue; see u guys in January.

The room was excellent and very clean. We always had plenty of fresh towels in the bathroom, and the bed was extremely comfortable and soft. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great location close to the broadway theaters but not in the Times Square madness. Great amenities and very friendly staff. Very clean room.

I would recommend this hotel. While the room and bathroom were small - it's NYC - they were clean and had everything I needed.

Staff and service were excellent. The room size was on the side for two people.

The hotel is in an excellent location, the staff is really amazing, ready to help with anything and everything. Clean rooms and a nice small gym that is open 24/7. The rooms are not soundproof and in the room where we stayed the air conditioner was a little noisy (it didn't bother us).

Location is excellent, steps from everything. Staff very professional and friendly. Room was very small and de AC was noice. The door of the bathroom was a hanging door that it does not give privacy.

The room and bathroom were renovated and very clean. The location was just fantastic. The staff was super welcoming, attentive and helpful. The hotel mentioned to me that they will be undertaking "a total renovation and transformation of the hotel over the coming months", so that will take this hotel to another level. I would stay here again and would recommend it.

Excellent location. Quiet room, double blackout curtains, very comfortable bed. Appreciated complimentary water station on our floor. Elegant lounge off reception with complimentary coffee and water. Housekeeping every day. Lovely, friendly staff.

Top hotel in an excellent location close to everything.
The rooms are spacious, quiet, very clean with high quality fittings and a large flat screen tv. There is a water fountain on every floor.
Staff at the front desk are super friendly and helpful.
The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but there is free coffee and sparkling water near the foyer.

No housekeeping for entire stay – ignored throughout

We stayed here for 4 nights and, quite honestly, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

For the entire duration of our stay, the room was not cleaned once. Towels were never changed, and used/dirty towels were left in the room the whole time. We repeatedly contacted the front desk asking for clean towels and basic tea/coffee refills — nothing was ever brought up.

To make matters worse, food boxes and rubbish were left in the room for multiple days, with bins piling up and no housekeeping support whatsoever. This wasn’t a one-off oversight — it was consistent across the entire stay.

After returning home, I raised this directly with the hotel. Initial contact was made, but since then the communication has been extremely poor. I’ve had to chase repeatedly, including making international calls from the UK, where I was hung up on multiple times. Weeks later, the issue is still not properly resolved.

This goes beyond inconvenience — it’s a complete failure of basic hotel service and customer care.

Great location between 5th and 6th, a short walk from the Rockefeller Center subway station, Rooms are on the small side but larger than others in NYC that cost more. Clean, comfortable bed, nice amenities in bathroom. Free coffee in lobby, which has a nice sitting area. Our room faced 45th street and there was some noise but no more than one would expect in Midtown and not enough to wake us. A good value for a room in the middle of it all in NYC.
