Location, hotel bar restaurant, balcony!!! And very quiet and clean.
Loved how comfy the bed and pillows were.
How dirty or bathroom was. Hair all over the floor, shower and tub. Glitter and green stuff all over the the tub, toilet and inside the tub. Stained our clothes. Almost like our bathroom was ignored for cleaning. Didn't use the shower just for that.
If you are looking for a relaxing hotel that includes an immaculate room with hotel essentials, on site dining and cocktails, and close proximity to entertainment options- you have FOUND IT!
Reasonable pricing across the board, reliable comfort and extremely professional staff in the lobby and restaurants. Thank you so much Paramount, we will return soon.
The hotel itself was nice. Our experience wasn’t anything special. We came down for my birthday and booked a king room with a balcony. Unfortunately we were only on the second floor so there weren’t much views from the balcony. The room itself is a little smaller than I expected for what we paid. We did not get room service for the first two nights we were there. We also had to pay an extra $75 a night for incidentals which was not disclosed at the time of booking a non refundable room. I understand the incidental fee but they should disclose that way in advance. I probably would not go back.
Overall experience in Portland was very comfortable. Location was in a convenient spot close to many of the places I wanted to see. The hotel seemed relatively safe, as I walked to local restaurants.
Convenient location. Comfortable stay. Felt safe. Staff was helpful and polite. Price was good. Will come back.
We experienced dirty sheets (stained/soiled in brown spots) upon arrival, black mold in several areas along with water damage in the bathroom, a broken toilet, lumpy and broken down mattress, and extremely loud ac that blew dirt all over the room.
Location and having a restaurant in house.
Coffee maker in room
Great hotel staff was great. Everybody was great. The hotel was great especially home service. The hotel was very clean and the restaurant was great and housekeeping was phenomenal. Thank you again and I’ll see you very soon when I visit my daughter.
The room was nice and spacious. I could tell in its heyday this was a very nice place to stay.
Was lacking some of the amenities newer/updated hotels have to offer, even simple things like being able to take a bubble bath were not an option despite having a large soaking tub in the room. We were told we weren't even allowed to use bubble bath. There were ants in the bathroom. Some of the decor and fixtures etc were very dated and not upkept.
Location very near Arlene Schnitzer
Bed was uncomfortable, room not cleaned well, and bathroom poorly cleaned. Staff lovely but breakfast not very good.
Bed was comfortable. Location to Trimet good. Nothing real special but clean and comfortable.
Price of parking is so expensive. Bad enough you don't even get a whole night for the price but then have to pay parking on top of it.
The hotel staff are very friendly and helped answered our questions we had, plus they gave us other suggestions on things to do in the area. The Hoetl is in a great location in downtown only two blocks from the Max lines to get around. It is also very walkable city, easy to get to the river and parks. The resturant and bar on site are very good. Would definitely stay here again and recommand.
Amazing trip and city! Hotel was great and accommodating, located near so many restaurants and businesses. Appreciate the front desk staff & restaurants service. Bed was so comfortable & room was perfect! Look forward to another trip.
Excellent highly recommended. Directly across from the Max which is the public train system. Will take you right to the airport. Near the Art Museum, Dumpling house, Powells Independent Book Sore, and Voo Doo Donut just to name a few. Staff was very kind and professional. Restaurant and Whiskey house for food and a night cap.
