This hotel is a must stay when in Rome. Conveniently located by the Spanish steps and within walking distance of most sites.
The service was the best we have ever received in all of our travels. Housekeeping attention to detail was over the top and suprised day after day.
The on site restaurant and roof top bar are both worth multiple visits.
The location is perfect , either if you want to go shopping or if you want to see museums. The hotel has such a great and elegant style - every detail is unique. Food is stunning from breakfast to dinner, worth every single euro spent ! Staff is always there!
Amazing experience. Wonderful Cielo rooftop bar! The drinks were fantastic and the sharing bites as well! Salvatore, Simone, Paolo and Emanuele were incredible! Matteo, Jairo and Jose were super kind to us! Simone also recommended a kombucha for my friend who doesn’t drink alcohol, which was thoughtful.
The Spa has now a criosauna which is a very interesting longevity tool worth to do every day of tour stay! Giulia was very patient and professional in explaining us all the benefits and assisting us with the procedure.
Café Ginori was intimate, cozy, and food was fantastic! great recommendations by Francesco and Ana Maria. The off menu pasta was to die for! Alessandro recommended us an exquisite wine to accompany the meal. Everyone encountered was simply genuine and happy to see us, which put us at ease and made us feel like we were long time friends.
We visited Rome in the week of 20th October 2025 and stayed at Hotel de la Ville, perfectly located in the heart of the city. Our stay was exceptional from start to finish.
The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, and a special mention goes to Signore Benedetto Colizzi, whose outstanding hospitality made our visit truly memorable. He offered excellent recommendations and arranged reservations at some of Rome’s best restaurants, as well as guided us to its most beautiful piazzas.
Our Superior Room was spacious, immaculate, and elegantly furnished — a wonderful place to relax after exploring the Eternal City. We would gladly stay at Hotel de la Ville again and highly recommend it for its comfort, service, and unbeatable location.
My wife and I spent 6 nights at de la ville during our three weeks in Italy. The service , friendliness in total was maybe the best we have experienced in all of our years of travel throughout the world.
