Relaxing Vacation
Pros:

Looking for a destination to relax & revive, chose San Diego & this Sheraton resort. What a fantastic experience!!! Great location close to airport; even walkable to downtown! It provides a pleasant atmosphere on the water with spectacular views. Add incredible amenities & dining options staffed by wonderful people - this place was PERFECT! Especially want to commend the staff of Rumorosa & Brewery X for providing outstanding service, with a splash of authentic, friendly, personable interaction. It was all very welcoming - so much so, we had to speak with the General Manager to pass along the well deserved praise. Enjoyed our stay so much, already discussing a return trip. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great overall resort, affordable luxury
Pros:

My daughter and I stayed here on the last day of our week vacation in California. We stayed in 3 other hotels during this trip. And the Sheraton did the best job overall. We did stay at Park Hyatt Aviara 5 star resort the few days prior to our adventure trip in CA. Sheraton had the overalll conplete package. Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable. Restaurants rocked, especially the Brewery. Staff was friendly and engaging. Not just doing a job. Genuinely cared. Pool was great. Water temps perfect for end of day relaxing swim. Plenty of seating. Parking had plenty of spaces available and still close enough to walk. Overall better place to stay for common traveler and affordable which was important. Thank you. Definitely will return.

Overall a good stay.
Pros:

Here for a work conference. Overall, the resort itself was very nice, room was clean, and it was quiet. Parking prices are asinine, but due to the conference I got to pay a reduced rate ($20 vs $50). The renovated room was nice, but my shower wouldn’t drain properly. My room not being ready at the designated check-in time was also frustrating.

A favorite hotel of mine
Pros:

This Sheraton, the Bay Tower , is in both a beautiful location and very convenient to the airport. The front desk staff is always friendly. The gym is nice and the beds are great. I also appreciate the complimentary shuttle service to the airport. Parking is expensive

Very disappointed stay.
Pros:

We recently stayed at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing due to significant dysfunction in how our reservation and room assignment were handled.
Prior to arrival, we had received confirmation of an upgrade through our Marriott Elite benefit, which led us to expect a smoother check-in experience. We also received communication from the hotel asking if our stay was for a special occasion, and we responded accordingly. Based on this, we anticipated a more coordinated and welcoming arrival.
However, upon check-in, we were initially placed in the same room type we had originally booked, with no explanation that the upgraded room was not available or properly assigned. Shortly after settling in, we received multiple calls stating our “room was ready,” followed later by additional calls and a late evening knock at the door offering champagne and dessert, along with an attempt to move us after we were already in bed.
While we understand that the staff may have been attempting to correct a mistake, the execution created unnecessary disruption and confusion late into the evening. The timing and lack of clear communication significantly impacted what should have been a relaxing stay.
Ultimately, the experience reflected a breakdown in coordination between the front desk and staff, particularly regarding our confirmed upgrade. This resulted in frustration rather than the elevated experience we typically expect as loyal Marriott guests.
Based on this stay, we were left very disappointed and hope management reviews their internal communication and upgrade handling processes to prevent similar situations for future guests.

Customer Satisfaction
Pros:

Great Location and Services. Front desk staff were very customer friendly and attentive. I had small issues with my reservation but they were unbelievable to solve and taking care of issues immediately. Specially Mr. Michael Powell and front desk staff, Harmony and Adrian. Kind of customer satisfaction that we don't see these days so often.

Friendly staff, great location, clean, and amazing views. Highly recommended!
Pros:

The check-in process was very easy and the staff was incredibly friendly, which set a great tone for the trip. The location is perfect—extremely convenient for getting around and exploring everything San Diego has to offer.
The resort was spotless and had a warm, family-oriented atmosphere that made it feel very welcoming. I also loved the room's location; the views of the sunrise and sunset were absolutely beautiful. Plus, the mattress was very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's rest. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton and would definitely recommend it!.
Also the Electric charge station in South parking lot was complementary.

Easter weekend getaway
Pros:

Sheraton San Diego was very nice. Rooms were recently renovated and had all the modern touches expected of the Sheraton brand. Beds were comfortable and the linens were great. Each room has a private balcony and a small table to enjoy the views. The ambiance in the hotel is amazing and they had several activities to partake in. Kids enjoyed the Easter egg hunt and the cookies and lemonade each day, as well as the campfire s’mores every night. Just a great location and superb views in a clean and welcoming place. The elevators are new and extremely quick. Overall stay was perfect. Thank you to the Sheraton and their staff.

Leisure Trip for the Easter Weekend
Pros:

I really liked how I was treated when I arrived. The staff although busy were very nice. I especially appreciated Harmony’s hospitality at the front desk. She really went above and beyond in her service. The stay was lovely, but the two downsides were the cost of parking at the resort. It costs $55/night for self-parking in a lot as there is no parking garage. However, if you walk across the street, there is a parking lot that costs $10/day, which is also the overflow parking lot for the valet. The other thing was the service in the Rumarosa Restaurant was a bit spotty with service at times. But, the staff throughout the resort were friendly and hospitable.
