I liked the location and esthetic.
The rooms could be cleaner. I noticed dust in the bathroom and hair on the floor. There was also hair on the bed.

Great location. We had decided to not rent an auto so the complimentary airport shuttle was a winner. We could walk or take a shuttle to near by restaurants on the marina. There is also an excellent whale/dolphin watching service immediately next door to the hotel. We had a great tour with Captain James on that tour. Easy ride share to other planned activities in Balboa Park (zoo and the Prado). Fitness room was large and clean. All the staff were very nice and helpful,
The room was good, the views of the marina and water were great, the restaurant in the hotel was very good. All the staff members were courteous and helpful. Two suggestions: 1.) In your website listings and booking confirmation emails please be clear whether the room is at the 1380 Harbor Island Drive address (Marina Tower) or the 1590 Harbor Island Drive address (Bay Tower). For some reason all your emails only use the 1380 address and the reference to the "Bay Tower" is at the end of the email and listed without an address. Every time I have taken the airport shuttle to the hotel I watch this cause needless confusion/stress for half the passengers on the shuttle bus. I suggest making your website and emails more clear, and making sure the shuttle bus drivers consistently use a clear announcement to head off any confusion. 1A.) Don't arbitrarily change people's reservations from one tower to the other via an unclear email a day before they arrive. This happened to us. 2.) When customers or guests call the hotel and attempt to reach the front desk, they cannot. They are routed to a call center somewhere where the answerers seem unfamiliar with the actual hotel. Bring back human-based service. Summary: The focus on the corporatization, computerization, and efficiency seems to have lead to some gaps in the human experience that could be solved with common sense and clear communication. It’s a great location and staff but the resort fee (mandatory) and parking fee (optional, but difficult to avoid) add up to over $100. I hate those kinds of fees that don’t show up at booking and often aren’t reimbursed by my business.
I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to "Harmony Esmeralde"and "Sarabia" at Sheraton Hotel in the San Diego Bay area. Their exceptional service truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They took the extra effort to ensure that my wife and I enjoyed our ocean view room to the fullest and made us feel special with their warm hospitality. Their attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism greatly enhanced our experience, and we are incredibly grateful for their efforts.
Both Harmony and Sarabia deserve the highest recognition and could truly benefit from promotions for their outstanding dedication and service. They are a shining example of the exceptional customer care that Sheraton Hotel is known for. Thank you again for making our visit so memorable!

Fantastic staff, Quick and effortless check in process, Housekeeping was phenomenal. Several dining options at the Hotel as well as restaurants near by. Brewery X inside the Hotel had an amazing staff, Beer, Food etc.

The person at check in went out of her way to be helpful and Accommodating- beautiful rooms - wish they had Coke and not Pepsi!!!
Very friendly staff. Super clean with a great view. The bed was super comfortable as well!! I always worry when traveling with my two smaller children about the location and safety. It was well lit, easy to access and I felt safe when moving within the property and the parking lot outside.
Airport shuttle was available, and the driver was quick to help with our bags. The receptionist was sweet, professional, and even offered us water upon arrival. The hotel was clean, and our room was immaculately maintained. The steak at the restaurant was incredibly juicy, tender, and delicious. The bartender was amazing; handling everything on his own and doing an excellent job. The property was beautiful, with a lovely view overlooking the marina.
As usual the stay was great. Melody is awesome. She is very attentive and no matter your status with BonVoy she makes you feel warm and welcome. As you are the customer heading to the penthouse presidential suite. She’s amazing.

So I stayed here for a quick one day Valentine’s Day stay. I booked through Amex last minute and was given a reasonable price. I arrived and the staff were friendly. The hotel was extremely busy with event the valet parking being full. I was directed to park in a lot across the street. I waited to check in which was easy and fast. The resort was super clean, and full of lively things to do. I got to my room which quickly made me feel at ease. I was able to get a lower level room that connected to the marina. Amazing views, nice walk ways to walk. Awesome atmosphere and vibe. The resort stays super clean. They are super attentive to the guests, even answering their phone and greeting you. I wish the parking lot was bigger, there was a lot which was empty but was closed due to it being worked on. I was wondering why they didn’t at least open the lot for more valet parking, or to accommodate additional guest with parking. All in all it was a good last minute stay.
The hotel was perfect and very very clean. My only complain was parking, we paid for parking for two nights and each time we left and came back we spent so much time driving around in circles just to find parking it was awful.
