Great experience
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Super clean with a great view. The bed was super comfortable as well!! I always worry when traveling with my two smaller children about the location and safety. It was well lit, easy to access and I felt safe when moving within the property and the parking lot outside.

Perfect place near the SAN airport
Pros:

Airport shuttle was available, and the driver was quick to help with our bags. The receptionist was sweet, professional, and even offered us water upon arrival. The hotel was clean, and our room was immaculately maintained. The steak at the restaurant was incredibly juicy, tender, and delicious. The bartender was amazing; handling everything on his own and doing an excellent job. The property was beautiful, with a lovely view overlooking the marina.

As usual the stay was great. Melody is awesome. She is very attentive and no matter your status with BonVoy she makes you feel warm and welcome. As you are the customer heading to the penthouse presidential suite. She’s amazing.

Enjoyable vibe, gorgeous resort.
Pros:

So I stayed here for a quick one day Valentine’s Day stay. I booked through Amex last minute and was given a reasonable price. I arrived and the staff were friendly. The hotel was extremely busy with event the valet parking being full. I was directed to park in a lot across the street. I waited to check in which was easy and fast. The resort was super clean, and full of lively things to do. I got to my room which quickly made me feel at ease. I was able to get a lower level room that connected to the marina. Amazing views, nice walk ways to walk. Awesome atmosphere and vibe. The resort stays super clean. They are super attentive to the guests, even answering their phone and greeting you. I wish the parking lot was bigger, there was a lot which was empty but was closed due to it being worked on. I was wondering why they didn’t at least open the lot for more valet parking, or to accommodate additional guest with parking. All in all it was a good last minute stay.

Perfect EXCEPT parking

The hotel was perfect and very very clean. My only complain was parking, we paid for parking for two nights and each time we left and came back we spent so much time driving around in circles just to find parking it was awful.

Great stay near the airport
Pros:

This was a wonderful hotel for a nice restful stay after my cruise. It was close to the airport (free shuttle) and the whale watching experience was located onsite. Seaport Village was a short ride share away. Hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel was very clean.

San Diego Gem, even for a local!
Pros:

Fantastic experience from the moment we stepped in the door. Staff was fantastic and great restaurants! Incredible view of the harbor. The location was awesome. Only rarely did I ever hear a plane even though the airports, a stone throw away and so convenient downtown. Really a lovely time. The pool area is fantastic. Walking right out of the back of the hotel around the harbor and onto the Bayside is incredible. Looking forward to going back.

Beautiful hotel.
Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel, lovely location by the water. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Only complaints were the coffee maker didn’t work and our water carafe was not clean. The carafe was replaced when it was pointed out and also we were given two bottles of water so that was nice. We didn’t tell anyone about the coffee maker until check out so it could be replaced.
I would be happy to stay here again.

Nice hotel near SD Airport
Pros:

A short overnight stay to catch a flight early next day. I am a Titanium member, they upgraded to a nice 2 level room overlooking the pool area, too bad I was there for such a short time. My birthday is in a few days, a personalized birthday card and a dessert was waiting for me when I entered the room.

A nice and appreciated gesture.

A few quiet days
Pros:

I went with my daughter and 6 month old grandson. I took care of him while she was in meetings. There were nice places to walk with him and a lovely pool. However, there was little to do in the area without taking a car. The food in the hotel was surprisingly good and the lobby was very comfortable. Service, especially housekeeping, was very accommodating.

Great property, be aware of the fees

Overall, its a beautiful property at a great location. Just. Be aware of all the fees beforehand. I ordered ro I m service and know there was a delivery fee, but there was also a 24% service fee i was not aware of and of course I tipped my delivery person. I got 2 packages delivered from Amazon and was told all their deliveries go to the FedEx office in the building (I thought was strange). When I went to the office, I had a pay a pick up fee to pick up the packages. Wth???!!! Needless to say, I was not happy with that.
