Our basic needs were met, but we were uncomfortable taking off our shoes; a place beyond its prime.
Pros:

The staff was pleasant. The response to our call for an iron that was in working order was quickly met. The bathroom and bed looked and felt clean. Its location was right for our purposes.

Cons:

The room's smell wasn't pleasant. I don't like false perfume smells, but clean smells are welcomed. The light in a dark part of the room didn't work. My husband found a large cockroach crawling across the bathroom threshold after I'd heard what I suspected was a mouse. There was a large gap under the balcony door which may be how the bug got into the room. The hotel was grand in its day, but is in need of general refreshing, a landscape spruce-up, and more tender loving care throughout. The grounds have many weeds in the rock gardens and "grass." It wasn't hard to imagine what a wonderful place it once was, but it has fallen from its former glory.

We had a very comfortable stay for one night in town, but we wish the pool had been open.
Pros:

The beds were very comfortable (soft mattress, lots of pillow, high quality bedding) the room was great for our family. Maintenance was immediately responsive when a light bulb went out in our room. The front desk agents were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Breakfast wasn’t great and the pool was closed.

Never again. 2x ive stayed there. Both times were horrible experience. And no restaurant at night

Cons:

Took them 4 times to get me into a room. 1st room was occupied. Next two were under repairs when we went to the rooms. 4th one the bed was dirty when we went to bed

Pros:

Book the stay because we were attending a wedding outside of Hunt...due to 4 o'clock check in time we only had the chance to sleep there...not use the facilities. It was a little pricey for just an overnight.

Pros:

The lobby was beautiful

Cons:

Waiting in the lobby over an hour with 2 exhausted kids. I booked through booking.com. There it stated 3 pm check in time. Not 4pm! So not cool there
