Excellent room with comfortable bed. Great location.
On check in the receptionist failed to advise me that I had to ask for room service as it was not automatic. So my room was not serviced.
3 out of 5 stars – Beautiful hotel, but the parking is a total rip-off
Stayed here for one night right before boarding a cruise from Seattle. We flew in a few days early, rented a car so we could explore the city, and chose the Sheraton Grand because of its great location and reputation.
The hotel itself is genuinely stunning — modern, clean, elegant lobby and rooms, and very comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful with our early check-in and cruise-related questions. Everything about the property feels upscale and well-maintained. I would have easily given this place 5 stars based on the hotel experience alone.
Unfortunately, the $82 overnight valet parking fee for guests completely soured the stay. That’s not just expensive — it feels like a straight-up scam, especially when you’re only staying one night before a cruise. We opted out and parked across the street in a public garage for the weekend rate of just $10, which worked out perfectly fine.
If you’re flying in early, renting a car, and planning to stay here before your cruise, just be prepared for that hefty parking hit if you want the convenience of valet. It’s a shame because otherwise this is a fantastic hotel in a prime spot.
Would stay again only if I didn’t have a car.
Stayed at the Sheraton grand. Good location and attractive lobby but the rooms are in need of updating and lack basic facilities. No electric kettle, no everyday teabags, no china mugs or glasses, just disposable plastic! Two thimble sized sachets of half and half, no proper milk, thin bath towels. A coffee machine to make revolting coffee that was so strong you could have stood a spoon up in it. But of course there was no spoon not even a plastic one. The blind at the window was frayed at the side and there were holes in the backing of the blind. Obviously cutting corners. Certainly not a luxury stay. I expected better from the Sheraton brand. I won’t stay here again or recommend it to friends.
Bed was comfortable and the shower was hot, so there were two good things about the room, but the good was far outweighed by the bad.
Location, central downtown and bar/ restaurant areas.
No heating in the room
I just spent six nights in this hotel. Overall, I recommend it. On the positive side, my room was clean, the staff was friendly and the Sheraton Lounge was very nice and open throughout my stay.
My only negative comment is that the guest rooms are dark and dated. The bathroom in particular is poorly lit.
Overall, a good stay. I'll be back.
Nicely decorated.. clean
There was a 55 gal trash can by our door with a towel across it when we got there and was still there when we left 2 days later.. assuming catching a leak
The staff were excellent, professional, and friendly from room cleaner to front desk! The rooms were large and very comfortable and the local in hotel restaurant was wonderful! The location met our needs for something close to the Convention Center.
Not having easy access to our car.
Very good location. The connected restaurants are pretty good. Unfortunately, the hotel cafes and bars are closed most of the day. The rooms are decent size and beds are comfortable. Commonly, we had to ask for more pillows as the provided ones were too soft and flat. Service is below average.
Perfect location. Loved our stay here. Our room was huge and comfortable as well as clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable. Hotel was quiet -the a/c mostly quiet. Room had a fridge, nice table as well as lounge. Huge window with city views. I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay
