Disappointed by the Reality vs. Online Promises
Pros:

I had high hopes for 42 Grand Residence based on the photos online, but unfortunately, the reality fell short. The place is noticeably older than it appears in the pictures, which felt misleading.

One of the biggest issues was the balcony. It was constantly dirty, as pigeons seemed to have made it their daily hangout. This meant dealing with a messy and unappealing outdoor space throughout the stay.

Another disappointment was the lack of free internet on the smart TV. You’re expected to pay extra for that, which wasn’t mentioned upfront. On top of that, the internet in general was unreliable, with frequent outages, making it frustrating to stay connected.

I wanted to like this place, but the combination of outdated features, the pigeon problem, and connectivity issues left me underwhelmed. Definitely not worth the price for what you actually get.

Just normal and reasonable price.
Not so clean.
Inconvenient internet access
Only one-key.
When I remove the key, the air conditioner turns off, so it is very hot and uncomfortable when you return from going out.

Pros:

We found this to be an incredible value compared to the other hotel where we stayed at while visiting Bangkok Old Town. BTS being so close makes it easy to have this as home base for visiting the modern side of Bangkok. Highly recommended.
