Clean and safe hotel. Close to Cable Cars, street cars and BART.

The AC wasn’t working. It was an inconvenience for the workers to try and get it fixed. If we have to sleep with our windows open then at least put screens on. The area is too bc impacted. There’s no refrigerators, nor was our AC working. It was horrible!

Okay, this looked like a great hotel and we were impressed when we got there. But at 10pm the Irish pub on the first floor had the live band start. For the next four hours we listened to U2 covers and other music that I’m sure was great if you were there in person. But when your family is trying to sleep it makes for a particularly bad experience. Finally, at two in the morning the band called it quits and we thought it was over, but then the fighting broke out and the police were called. They got it handled by around 3AM though and I got three hours of sleep eventually.

Great location for exploring downtown San Francisco. Easy access to all mass transit. Close to restaurants and bars. Free breakfast for getting you going each morning. Very comfortable beds.

Nice property

Overall, this was a good stay. The location is very good for access to BART, MUNI Metro as well as historic street cars.

The staff I dealt with with were polite and friendly. Check in and check out was efficient. The hotel was happy to hold on to a suitcase for a few hours on check out.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The air conditioning was effective. There is a coffee machine and pods provided in the room. Coffee pods were replaced daily.

The in room safe would not lock for the duration of the stay. This was despite drawing the attention of reception to this fact.

Breakfast was included in the cost of the stay, and offered a good level of choice. However, a minor criticism is that the room where breakfast is a very small space and appears too small for the size of the hotel. On two of the five mornings that I had breakfast in the hotel I had to bring my breakfast back up in the elevator to my room, because there was simply no space left in the room to have breakfast. The windows of the hotel were very dirty throughout my five night stay and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. There is also a bar at street level under the hotel and this was, at times in the evening, a source of considerable noise.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better – it’s right next to Union Square and makes getting to all the main attractions really easy. Despite being in downtown, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, and we slept very well.

We enjoyed the breakfast, which was quite sufficient and offered a nice variety. It was a buffet-style setup, and I especially loved the white egg veggie omelet. There were plenty of healthy options that fit my daily protein intake needs, which I really appreciated.

Check-in and check-out were both very quick, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh sheets and towels provided daily.

The only downsides were that the window was quite dirty, making it hard to enjoy the view outside, and the showerhead had low water pressure. It would be great if they could clean the windows more often and improve the water pressure in the shower.

I’d definitely stay here again. It was excellent value for money!

Loved the location and found the hotel to be clean and quiet

This is refurbished property steps away from the Powell Street cable car turnaround and close to the 38 bus top. The queen bed was comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly large for a refurbished building. The staff were very helpful and engaging. The complementary breakfast is standard Holiday Inn fare.

The quiet and peaceful experience although it would seem loud given the location qas a nice surprise. The continental breakfast was superb and better than expected

Downtown area

The room was beautiful, it was big and comfortable. Breakfast was served early which was super convenient. The room had a coffee machine and we had free coffee available to use every day. The hotel location was great as well super convenient. The staff was very attentive and the hotel in general was super clean

I liked this property. It was super convenient for shopping, eating, and entertainment. The only thing that didnt make this an excellent star for me was parking. You had to park a bloack or so down from the property, on the 4 floor and up. Once I got into my room. I was amazed at how the layout was. It was a simple room but absolutely amazing.

Left my power cord in the fitness room and staff figured out it was mine and returned to me the next day before I knew it was gone. Great work!

The customer service at the front desk was superb. Very friendly and helpful.
