Good Stay For The Price
Pros:

The location and the size of our apartment. Staff were nice.

Cons:

1- Our mattress was too soft and not comfortable.
2-The kitchen sink was TOO small for its big faucet. It was very tricky (almost impossible) to rinse something without water pouring everywhere. Also, the kitchen needed more kitchenware: it lacked Colander and a big tray to name a few.

Geniale Lage mitten in San Francisco

Pohodová bezpečná lokalita nedaleko centra, v apartmánu menší kuchyňka.

Cons:

Poměrně malé pokoje i postele, ale dá se to vydržet :-) V kuchyňce je sice mikrovlnka i myčka, ale není tam sporák.

Not suitable for three adults, as beds and rooms quite small.
Pros:

The reception is manned 24/7 and the staff were always very helpful. The games room is a nice touch and the entrance hall area very impressive.

Cons:

Booked for three male adults, the rooms and beds were not really adequate. The double bed was small, and the sofa bed not very comfortable. The property is fairly central but close to 'the tenderloin' which is not an area to walk around alone at night.

This was a nightmare stay and further excerbated by the total lack of empathy by both Booking.com and the Hotel. On day to we ventured 2 lanes to the left of the hotel ( rated 9+ on location ) to geary street only to realise this is the hub of homeless + addicts. One of addicts chased us ( me + wife and a 3 yo in a pram ) which totally scared the life out of us. We rushed to the hotel explained our experience and decided that we no longer want to stay in that area for the reason that we clearly felt unsafe in that homeless addict infested area. This is where our ordeal began. Being a genius member I raised a request on booking.com and at the same time informed the front desk + Also dropped a message on Booking.com. Booking.com got back after 4 hours of what was clearly marked as an urgent request, saying that they had further raised this request to the hotel. Now I was supposed to wait for 48 hours before I could get a response. This request was clearly raised as an urgent request, citing safety reasons. The SOP Booking.com has is that, while you are staying in a hotel where you feel threatened or have safety issues, the response time is 48 hours. This totally boggled my mind. Over the next 48 hours, the hotel completely chose to be silent on this request, clearly on booking.com. We went to the front desk at least 2-3 times, and every time the person sitting there said that they were not the right point of contact to take this decision, and we should come at a later time. Finally, after giving a person on the desk a piece of our mind and asking for a decision, they clearly said that under no condition would they be able to process a refund for leaving early. We had to stay there five nights, or we were free to check out early and forego our amount. While I understand that the hotel can do this, what shocked me was how Booking.

A very good location to explore from in SF.....
Pros:

We stayed a week at the Club Wyndham Canterbury, when we were in town visiting family who live in the Bay Area. It was very easy to get on the BART system to rendezvous with them or to explore the city by the Muni bus system or by foot. We also availed ourselves of our first Waymo ride which was fun and interesting. Waymo cars are all over the downtown area and easy to get. Our accommodations were very adequate, with a big bedroom with lots of closet and dresser space. The living room also had lots of storage in a closet and cabinets. There is a kitchenette with a small dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave, with a full set of dishes and utensils that you might need. The room was very clean and quiet although you could hear street sounds as you would expect in the city. All of the staff were very helpful and any request was quickly met, such as for additional coffee. The neighborhood is near the Tenderloin District, which we steered clear of but there is plenty to explore to the east and in the specific neighborhood of the hotel. I have lived in a number of urban areas so homeless people are not intimidating. They leave you alone generally and I leave them alone to manage the difficulties of their lives. But I always felt safe on the streets and never had any issues. As you would do in any urban area, whether in the USA or overseas, you maintain situational awareness and act accordingly. The bottom line for street safety is the adage: Don't go to stupid places with stupid people and do stupid things. I would certainly stay at the hotel again, for it's very convenient to museums and other sights in the city.

überraschend großes, vollständig eingerichtetes Appartment, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, ideale Lage für Sightseeing, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel u. Cable Car in unmittelbarer Nähe, Fishermanns Wharf auch fußläufig gut erreichbar,

Cons:

problematisch ist es in der Nähe zu parken, kein Hoteleigener Parkplatz verfügbar, Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe recht teuer mit 45 $ pro Nacht, besser ohne Pkw oder Mietwagen anreisen und UBER oder öffentliche Verkehrsmittel nutzen

Excellent location and value for the money
Pros:

hotel location is perfect explore, San Francisco almost anywhere you walk, including to the pier is no more than 30 minutes walk the staff are very helpful, and the room size is great and has everything needed.

Comfortable stay for family
Pros:

Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel lobby and ambience are excellent and location too is good.

Cons:

They dont clean the room daily - however this is not a big issue as when you ask towels and amenities are replenished immediately.
