空港からのアクセスが良く、観光とビジネスの拠点となる最高の立地
Pros:

パウエル駅を出てすぐというロケーションは素晴らしい。空港からのアクセス、ケーブルカーの乗車が容易で、ビジネスや観光の拠点とするには最高。坂を登る必要も無く、公共交通機関のみでアクセスが可能というのは高評価に値する。部屋は清潔で使いやすいが、日本人的にはシャワーの水圧はもう少し欲しいところ。各階にウォーターサーバーがあるのも助かる。

Cons:

欧米ではありがちだが、室内の照明が暗めで仕事をするには適さなかった。また、デスクの近くにコンセントが無かったので苦労をした。建物の内側の部屋で、静かだったが窓からの眺望は皆無。ただ、通り側は騒音が気になるだろう。

Historical hotel, in a very alive part of the city, with friendly and efficient staff (concierge, bar, cleaners, etc.).
Pros:

Clean, comfortable bed, very central position, coffee and cookies available all morning. WiFi not the highest speed, but no problem even for Teams work calls or video on social media

Bed was unsleapable! Impossible. Like a hole. And elevator was out of order. One down one up. Waiting 15 min for it so I left hotel with my wife after 2 out of 4 nights

Location, location, location! Great!
BART, BIG BUS, museums, eateries, theater, TRADER JOE’S, all conveniently located nearby! Even a new DANDELION CHOCOLATE shop just opened on Powell (no need to walk to the Ferry Building).
And, SEARS FINE FOODS is neighboring the CHANCELLOR, which I liked!

A relatively affordable place at the centre of the city.
Pros:

Good wifi, excellent location, nice view.
The hotel is a piece of history, just reading when it was built is interesting.
Staff were always friendly

Cons:

The sound isolation is poor - my room actually had a locked door to the one next to it, I could hear all the dialogs.
There is no breakfast (this is not a secret), and breakfast at the restaurant next door is expensive - that said, there are great breakfast places if you're willing to walk 2 to 4 blocks.
