Excellent room, friendly staff and great value for area.
Pros:

I stayed here for work and was really happy with my stay. The room was very affordable but still had a proper bathroom with a bathtub, a good really good gym and excellent house keeping services every day.
The staff were really friendly and let me have an early check in when I arrived sleep deprived from flight from Australia. The hotel is also right next to a really good Trader Joes store.

Decent hotel makes my stay in SF enjoyable

Cons:

I wish they have more price transparency. I did not know how much they charge for each item. Also, most hotels don’t charge Internet fees. But they still charge. Of course, CA taxes are high and many

Overall, it’s okay, but the price doesn’t match the quality — it’s way too overpriced.
Pros:

I liked the hotel’s location — everything is nearby and within walking distance. The staff at the reception were friendly and welcoming. The deluxe rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a mini fridge. The wardrobes are convenient, and the toiletries smell nice, but they didn’t replenish them for us, and the shower gel ran out. Bathrobes and towels were all available in sufficient quantities.

Cons:

We didn’t like the room cleaning. Everything seemed okay on the surface, but apparently there is no deep cleaning — they just take out the trash and remove visible dirt. They didn’t replenish the shower gel for us, and after one cleaning, our plates and cutlery that we had brought with us disappeared.
The pillows are too bulky and uncomfortable. The bed and the fold-out sofa are also uncomfortable — it feels like they are uneven and tilted.
There is no microwave, coffee maker, or electric kettle in the room.
The hotel also lacks any proper grounds or outdoor area where you can sit and relax — just the reception, elevator, corridor, and rooms.

Great hotel in a central location
Pros:

My family and I had a great time at Hotel Zelos. It was our fist time staying there, and the first time my kids have been to San Francisco. The beautiful hotel was central to everything we wanted to see. Public transit was very easy to navigate. The parking was affordable and convenient. The rooms were very nice, modern, and spacious. We felt like VIPs. I only wish there was a coffee maker and a microwave, but there was a mini fridge. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was classy. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a really upper class establishment without the upper class price tag. We would definitely stay again whenever we visit San Francisco.

Pros:

Location was perfect for NYE festivities. Rooms were clean and spacious. Check in was easy. Restaurant had good food and drinks. Only complaint was the valet service. We had to fetch our own car from the garage.

Stayed here for NYE and loved it! The room was very nice and clean, and Michael at the front desk was amazing, super helpful and accommodating, especially when it came to valet. He really made our stay smoother. Would absolutely stay again.

Holiday getaway at Zelos
Pros:

Stayed here 2 nights to explore the city with family visiting from out of town. Anish took care of us when we checked in and was super friendly and helpful. Rooms are also spacious and comfortable.
