Colombina Hotel

The hotel staff was friendly, amazing and professional. They were extremely knowledgeable, helping us to be able to plan properly transportation, and giving us really great food recommendations for restaurants. One of the restaurants they advised was a great experience. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

We’ve just returned from this absolutely perfect hotel, where we stayed for 3 nights. It’s the perfect location and has a really lovely, chilled vibe. The atmosphere was perfect for Venice / grand without being pretentious. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and always went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Everything is in easy walking distance and although we didn’t eat in the restaurant, we certainly found our favourite Christmas cocktail there! Thank you for a wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel.

This was my first time in Venice and I was very nervous about picking the right hotel. I used Tripadvisor and reviewed several comments and pictures and decided on Colombina. Well, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was exactly what I was looking for. Just a few seconds from Saint Marks Square. I booked the deluxe Canal view and was not disappointed. I could see the tower of Saint Mark Square and the Cathedral domes. The view down on the canal was amazing as you could look directly up upon the bridge of Sighs. The staff were helpful and the bartender was excellent. Some of his original drink creations were amazing. The breakfast room was gorgeous and all the appointments and details were beautiful. The room was superbly decorated and in tiptop condition. I enjoyed the generous size of the space, including a generous size shower and large sink counter.

The staff at this hotel was was absolutely Awesome! They were extremely helpful and courteous! I highly recommend this hotel. I know if I ever make it back to Venice, his is the hotel I will stay at.

Everything about our hotel stay was amazing! The staff was incredible! The front desk helped us with any questions that we had and helped secure tickets to concerts, cooking classes, tours of the Murano Glass Factory, and water taxis. The breakfast did not disappoint! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a party of 17 and 8 rooms and we had a great time. The Colombina is centrally located and the staff and everyone were very kind, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was free and it was a lovely experience.

Excellent location near St Marks, convenient to walk to every attraction. The terrace room offered amazing views of the city, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or wine. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel arranged a water taxi from the airport (€180 4 ppl/4 bags) to the hotel and from the hotel to the train station for us. They offered boat service directly to Murano and a private tour of the factory. We opted to take the vapporetto back to Venice to allow for more time to explore Murano. Most importantly, I left my bag with my passport in the hotel lobby and didn’t realize it was missing until I arrived at the train station. I called Manuel in a full panic and he arranged a water taxi to deliver the bag directly to the train station for me. He provided the taxi number and estimated time of arrival. My bag arrived 20 minutes later and Manuel called me to verify it was delivered safely. Truly exceptional service!!! I can’t thank him enough for saving the day!!

I returned to Hotel Colombina after two years and was once again very pleased.
The staff is friendly and always helpful, the location is truly unbeatable for experiencing the heart of Venice, and the room cleanliness is impeccable. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in every aspect!

Great location close to St Marks Square. Our room had everything we needed and was fairly large. Breakfast was good. Reception staff were helpful with queries, etc.

A lovely hotel with excellent, friendly staff. Bedroom up to a high standard with a great bathroom.
Location is quite near to St Mark’s Square but far enough not to be too busy or noisy.

Lovely traditional hotel, located close to everything, St Marks square,
Palace. We had a Junior Suite with comfortable bed, sitting area, and lovely bathroom.

We had a balcony that you could actually sit out on with a beautiful view of bridges and gondolas passing by. You can see the Bridge of Sighs.

Could be a little noisy early morning with deliveries etc.

Nice breakfast, nothing out of the ordinary.

Lovely staff. Appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine brought and served in our room on arrival.

Also had resident entertainment/singer (lovely voice 😊❤️ ).

The hotel organises a boat ride for 1hr from the hotel which is lovely.

Really enjoyed our stay at this cute hotel.
