Not a hotel to rest or sleep before midnight
Pros:

The location is great, the staff is friendly, the room is nice, and you can even get free bottles of water from the reception.

Cons:

If you’re looking for a peaceful place to rest before midnight, this isn’t the right choice. The hotel is constantly noisy, with a music show in the reception that’s incredibly loud, even inside the rooms. Even the white noise speakers don’t help much.

Roxy + Zillah = Amazing
Pros:

The location is very convenient and has great vibes. The room is very unique and I love the retro motif. Come to this hotel if you’re looking for a unique experience. Zillah is an amazing host and helped to make us feel more than hospitable. She went above and beyond to provide excellent service and answered every question thoroughly.

Warm Welcome
Pros:

We were warmly welcomed to the hotel and oriented by Zillah, she was a wonderful host and very helpful. Our room was clean and we enjoyed the complimentary drinks upon arrival. Everyone is very friendly and the place is lovely- highly recommend.

Zillah FTW!
Pros:

Ended up @ the Roxy after the AC tanked at the Walker; amazing next choice. Zillah, however, is the impetus for this review. Made our entrance to the Roxy absolutely perfect. We felt so special, welcomed, informed, and taken care of. She had an outstanding demeanor, clear, articulate communication, and above and beyond helpful and enthusiastic. Stand in her line!

The Best Hotel Experience in NYC- Exceptional Service Starts with Zillah
Pros:

We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in New York, but we keep coming back to the Roxy.

The rooms are spacious, the vibe is unlike anywhere else in the city, and the service is exceptional.

A special shout-out to Zillah at the front desk, who is always amazing. She goes above and beyond every single time and makes us feel genuinely welcome.

Whether we’re in NYC for work or fun, the Roxy is our home away from home. Can’t recommend it enough. 🤍
