Airport hotel not at airport
Pros:

Large and comfortable room. Good shuttle servic with very helpful driver. Good breakfast with lots of choice.

Cons:

Hotel was not that close to airport and only one lift working. Expensive.

Out stay was one night between a flight and boarding a cruise ship but it was nice.
Pros:

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and provided helpful information on getting around the area. The hotel was close to a Tim Horton's - doughnuts! The restaurant was good and had an excellent bacon burger.

Cons:

While the hotel was great, it was a little out from the downtown area. However, it was easily accessible by train.

Unfortunately all elevators were broke when we were there, fixed in a few hours, but climbing 10 flights of stairs twice was difficult

Great location. Great people. But dated and so-so quality.
Pros:

Great location across the street from train station. Short walk to a large Japanese supermarket. A number of Chinese restaurants within a few blocks. All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Good tv channel selection.

Cons:

Beds were really bad, too soft. The place seemed dated. Faucets and toilet were a bit dodgy. One elevator being worked on for days. Breakfast was so-so

Close to the airport, with quick shuttle service. Plus just 1 minute from the Canada Line station which is the best way to get downtown or to the cruise ship terminal.

Good transit option in Vancouver
Pros:

The hotel was next to a lot Asian restaurants and shops for a quick meal. Shuttle was efficient.

Cons:

One elevator was out which made wait times long for such a large hotel. The ice machines were on even number floors and when you exit the stairs, they were locked coming back. Fortunately, my floor’s door (9th) wasn’t when I walked back up after getting ice. Price was very high due to World Cup and cruise season.

Convenient.
Pros:

The location excellent for our needs.
We only stayed for 12 hours. We flew from Miami, Florida to Vancouver to go on cruise.
