PARKROYAL on Beach Road, Singapore

Another fantastic stay at ParkRoyal on Beach Road, Singapore. The pool area has been completely refurbished and is super luxurious now.

For the small additional amount that they charge for the Club Floor and lounge access it’s worth every penny. Great breakfast, evening drinks from 6-8pm and the friendly helpful staff are the best, Especially Joseph, Tia and Esther. Top notch and thanks for looking after me again. I will be back, very soon………

First time staying here and I’m really impressed with the service. Special thanks to Mr. Allen (ground floor reception) and Mr. Joseph (Level 6 lounge) for being so welcoming and helpful.

I arrived early and the room wasn’t ready yet, but Joseph kindly recommended some local restaurants while I waited, which was a nice touch. The room is clean and comfortable and the in-room dining service was great too. I’ll definitely be back again!

Great location. Staff are superb very friendly and helpful. Close to Bugis Street and kampong Glam. service is second to none. Club lounge is fantastic. Joseph committed to excellent customer service, perfect in every way.

Excellent hotel and staff. Location was great for us. A lot of sights nearby within walking distance, but also good connections with MRT (bus and metro). We stayed for one week at a club level room, which we can warmly recommend. The room was spacious, clean, luxury amenities, laundry service was a nice bonus and even the view was great, facing the Arab Street. The club lounge became another home far away from home. After the first morning, we had the rest of our breakfasts in the lounge. What it lacks in selection compared to the restaurant downstairs is more than compensated by the service and relaxed atmosphere. The evening cocktails are a must, if the schedule allows. And a special mention to Joseph! He has just the right humor and service attitude to make you feel special. We also used the pool almost daily and visited the gym a few times. Both very clean and well equipped. Thank you, we would certainly stay again!

Check-in was quite slow and not the best first impression. A senior member of staff was present but didn’t acknowledge or greet us, which felt a little unfriendly.

There are steps up to the main entrance with no ramp, although thankfully someone was available to help carry our luggage.

The room itself was fine, but not double glazed, so we could hear music from across the road at night as well as the early morning call to prayer from the nearby mosque. The bathroom also had a small step up into it, which both my husband and I tripped over when we first arrived. The shower had shiny tiled flooring that became very slippery when wet, and the shower door didn’t close properly, meaning we had to angle the shower towards the wall to avoid flooding the bathroom.

Breakfast offered a good selection, but we found that items sometimes ran out and weren’t replaced quickly, even though we were there early (around 7am). Tables were also slow to be cleared.

On the plus side, the location is good—around a 14-minute walk to Raffles Hotel Singapore and within walking distance of many other key areas (around 30 minutes on foot). The room also had a useful water filter tap (although we only discovered this after checking the hotel website), and a handy night light which was great for navigating in the dark.

Overall, a decent stay with some thoughtful touches, but a few issues that could be improved.

We had the pleasure to meet , Viky, a very helpful, polite and pleasant young man.
Nothing was too much trouble and he is a real credit to your hotel.

Did not stay there but asked if we could visit the tour the gardens and Anson very kindly gave us a tour of the hotel himself :) it’s definitely a place i would love to stay in in the future and recommend to others for their wonderful service.

A special call out to Joseph who really did a great job of making the club lounge experience friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful hotel and the staff are very friendly and accomodating especially Ms. Irene who assisted us in our needs. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

Esther and Joseph were consistently outstanding throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, they were helpful and genuinely friendly, always greet us with warm smiles and making us feel welcome at every interaction. Their approachable and positive attitude really made a difference and added a personal touch to our experience.

What impressed us most was Ester’s willingness to go the extra mile. When we requested a room change, she handled it promptly and professionally, ensuring the process was smooth and completely stress-free.

Their warmth, attentiveness, and dedication to great service truly elevated our stay. They take pride in making the guests feel cared for, and we sincerely appreciate the effort they put into making our repeated visit so pleasant.

My friends and I had an enjoyable time staying (overnight staycation - 14th March to 15th March) at ParkRoyal at Beach Road!! Hotel is located at a prime location, which adds to our convenience. We are very thankful to Joseph and team who helped us on our first day there. Joseph is one of the friendliest and outgoing staffs I have met so far! With his awesome recommendation of the hotel facilities, we managed to familiarised ourselves with the hotel fast! Meeting Joseph is truly one of the highlights of our staycay! :) Thank you Joseph for your awesome service!

We were also pleased with the cleanliness of our room! Toiletries in the room were sufficient for us. The environment of the hotel is very peaceful and relaxing, which provided a good escape from my hectic work week:).

We have stayed at the Parkroyal on Beach Road many times and keep returning as we enjoy the ambience of this inner city hotel.
On our recent stay (7 nights) we were greeted with warmth, smiles and recognition.
We stayed on the 7th Floor and found our room to be of a high standard.
We enjoyed the privileges of the Club Lounge and found the staff Joseph, Mia, Tya, Ester and new commers Ray and Julianne to be professional, friendly, attentive and welcoming. Mr Tan you are very fortunate to have staff on this caliber.
The Hotel is ideally located, comfortable, excellent amenities (eg pool area), good food and welcoming with a warmth that draws you to return again. We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Singapore.

I come to Singapore often for business. It is easy to find a hotel with all the bells and whistles, but not so easy to find one with a heart.

Staying on the club floors in the Parkroyal is very much a home away from home. The staff remember you and not just as a face but by name.

As a standout I would have to call out Joseph in the club area. He knows me and what I like and goes out of his way to see that I am looked after and my needs met.

I don’t feel like just another guest at the Parkroyal!

The location is excellent, a short walk from shops/food/cafes and importantly MRT stations.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Can highly recommend booking club level as having the additional amenities and the lounge was such a great way to start and end the day.

Joseph in the lounge honestly couldn’t be more accomodating and friendly, a welcome face in the evening to return to.

The entire team who have looked after us in the club lounge deserve a mention as they made it so hospitable and homely.

The pool area is an exceptional place to wind down or take a dip with an uninterrupted view out toward the bay.

10/10 can recommend.

We booked through our travel agent to stay at the Park Royal in Singapore, we arrived at the hotel at 12:00hrs after a long flight from the UK. We checked in but were told that our room would not be available until 3pm but for an additional charge which was approximately £80 gbp we could go to another room or wait in the lobby for three hours. We were so tired so opted to pay for the room so we could freshen up. This hotel was not at capacity and could have easily accommodated us in our early arrival, there was no goodwill from the reception desk at all. For this reason alone we would not stay here again. We have never encountered this type of treatment and we are well travelled to many countries.

Had a great experience at Park Royal Hotel! Irene provided outstanding service and demonstrated exceptional attention to detail. We truly apprecited her assistance. Highly recommended!
