The Pollard Hotel

My wife and I stayed at the Pollard and loved it. Our room and bed was so comfortable, great silent air conditioning, and the bathroom was so nicely done. We also enjoyed cocktails in the bar (Marli’s) and had two delicious breakfasts. The staff is all so friendly! This is an iconic gem of a hotel.

There are several great options for lodging in Red Lodge,MT but for this visit, we wanted some thing a little more upscale, romantic, and centrally located. The Pollard was the perfect choice. Although historical hotel, it has been well kept and updated. We had a King suite which was large enough to spread out. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a large Jacuzzi tub with shower. An interesting feature is that it has a balcony that overlooks the interior of the hotel. It was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee but a little noisy when an obviously untrained pianist decided to practice chopsticks lol.
Check-in and reception staff is extremely pleasant and they offered some optional free snacks at check-in.
I rarely mention the gym in a hotel as they are typically run-of-the-mill, but this is one of the best gyms I’ve come across. I believe it’s actually fitness center available to residents, although both times I visited I was just one of 2 to 3 people in the entire facility although there are enough machines for lots of people at one time. It has a cardio room, weight room, Pickleball court, sauna, and shower facilities. All the equipment is new and good quality.
The hotel also has a nice large banquet area and it would be a lovely location for a wedding or special celebration.
Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious and large enough for a big eater or as a shared plate. Don’t miss the donuts!

Excellent location downtown. We were there during the motorcycle rally (not planned), so prices were on the high side. The workout room was the best I have ever seen at a hotel. The room we had was spacious and I loved the shower.

Great old hotel in downtown Red Lodge. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very serviceable - nothing unique but cozy. We found parking on the side street next to the hotel, but I’m not sure if there is a private lot. Could be an issue during the busy summer season. Great bar.

We had a lovely stay here, would highly recommend. We had a king suite on a corner which was spacious with an additional sitting area and a huge shower which was the best shower I've ever had a hotel. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive at check in and check out. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant which was delicious. The free parking for the hotel that was offered was also a bonus. The town itself had everything we needed within walking distance and everyone was extremely friendly. We plan to go back and stay next time we are in the area. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel. Everything was fine - large, well appointed room and nice public spaces. Breakfast (not included) was good with many choices. The location was perfect.

The hotel and rooms have been renovated and everything looks and works great! The hotel is only 1-2 blocks from dining and shopping. There is a restaurant in the hotel that serves breakfast and lunch.

I love the downtown location in Red Lodge. It is nice to be right in the midst of all the shops and restaurants.
