Tolles Boutique Hotel in ruhiger Lage
Pros:

Das Hotel ist ein Traum: die Zimmer sind großzügig eingerichtet, alles ist geschmackvoll und viel aus Holz. Das Personal ist total nett und das Frühstück war sehr lecker (insbesondere der Obstsalat 😇). Man läuft nur kurz rüber zum Aussichtspunkt auf die Stadt. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort.

You won't be disappointed!
Pros:

This is a great place to stay. Safe walk away from many nice restaurants and the Strait. This city has some really nice boulevards that make walking around very pleasant.

The real joy of this hotel is the staff. Very kind and very good at their jobs. The front desk folks were helpful at recommending restaurants and laundries. They were so enthusiastic about their city, that it was contagious. We found people in Chile to be very kind, very pleasant.

From Juanita who served us absolutely the best hotel provided breakfast of fresh food we've ever had (and it's not even close), to Jacinta and Rodrigo and the others at the front desk, they were great. We don't speak Spanish as well as we should, more's the pity as they were nice to get to know a little.

The hotel has great common areas from two in the lobby to a third floor solarium that has a nice view of the Strait in the distance. It's a small place with only 9 rooms but they pack in a lot of value!

Das Hotel ist klein wenige Zimmer aber hat einen ganz besonderen Stiel die Wände aus Holz und sonst Stein somit eine tolles Klima!

Gemütliches, familiäres Hotel mit liebevollem Frühstück
Pros:

Das Hotel ist einfach kuschelig schön! Es ist ganz anders als sterile Hotelketten, es ist sehr persönlich und toll gestaltet. Das Frühstück ist unglaublich liebevoll gemacht und schmeckt so gut - das beste Frühstück, das ich in Chile bekommen habe. Oben im Hotel gibt es einen kleinen Wintergarten, da habe ich einen Regentag verbracht - total gemütlich!

A true Diamond in Punta Arenas
Pros:

We travel a lot and usually stay in the chain hotels. Westin, Marriot, Hilton and so on.
Visiting Punta Arenas there wasn't this choice. So Hotel Ilaia came up on my search. I was blown away with this boutique hotel.
The staff were completely amazing, facilities great i could go on and on.
If you travel to Punta Arenas you are usually running around doing many excursions that 12 to 14 or more hours a day. Hotel Ilaia became a home away from home where they all know your name and welcome refuge for us weary Travellers. I know I'm gushing a little but take my word on this, you won't be disappointed. 2 thumbs way up!!!

Pros:

Stayed here the first and last nights of our Pategonia trip. Very friendly staff and nice hotel. I especially enjoyed the rooftop with a glass of wine.
