Staff was very friendly & accommodating !
The room was perfect!
O
It’s centrally located in town. Breakfast was great!
Nothing was plowed! Not the parking lot, not the city streets, nothing!!!
The front desk staff was SO nice! Very sweet ladies at both check in and check out.
We had ants in our room. But it’s that time of the year.
I enjoyed my stay at Americinn. I had 4 critical medical appointments in New Richmond on Monday and Tuesday. I live only 1.5 hours from New Richmond; however, due to a big snow storm moving in Saturday night into early Monday morning, I needed a hotel for 3 nights on short notice that met my standards - cleanliness and reasonable rates. Americinn’s rates, cleanliness and location met my standards. I booked my room at Americinn through booking.com on the day I had to leave my home, to avoid driving in a snowstorm. And… besides the snowstorm and my critical medical appointments, I had a relaxing mini vacation for a few days.
Unfortunately, all of my medical appointments required I have an empty stomach. Smelling the aroma of what I can only assume was a great breakfast, I missed the opportunity to eat breakfast during my stay.
One of my favorite places. Love this hotel , location and staff. Clean, modern, accessible and a good value, plus it has an amazing breakfast.
Kelsey was amazing! She was a pleasure to work with! Wish your staff could all learn from her!
The overnight Man was Terrible! His customer service was horrible. From the minute he arrived, he instantly started yelling at guests to leave the lobby, get out of the hallways and clear our things out the the large room we had our things in. Yes, we knew we had to get out of that room at 11:00p but we needed time to remove our belongings and clean up the room. Instead of politely asking us to start packing things up he came around shouting at guests "You CANNOT be here, everything is closed!" "Get out!" As guests would walk from room to room he would appear in the hallway and yell, " You cannot be here, you signed a contract- this area is closed! I will kick you out, without a refund and you will leave!" As guests walked thru the lobby, which I understand to be a public space that connects a room to the outside parking lot, he would again yell, "This area is closed you cannot be here, you signed a contract! I will kick you out!"
My son's 18 year old girlfriend needed to retrieve something from her car in the parking lot. My son, who is 18, walked her to lobby, stood by the window and watched her to make sure she was safe as she walked to her car, and he was screamed at by the night attendant that he could not be there that the space was closed- when my son told him he was waiting for his girlfriend to come in he was again screamed at and told he cannot be there!
My daughter called my room crying because she was too scared to walk from one room to our room because she afraid of the big sweaty mean guy that was yelling at everyone and telling them they couldn't use the hallways to get back to their rooms and asked me to come get her. Well, interestingly enough as i wen to get her- as we paused in the lobby for the young girls to part ways to their rooms so I could verify they made it safely to their room before my daughter and I walked up the stairs to our room- we were once again confronted by your night employee- screaming at us! He once again, with his fists clenched yelled "This area is closed, you cannot be here, you signed a contract. When I tried to tell him I was an adult ensuring these minor girls were getting to their rooms safely he again said I will kick you out and not refund your room- you signed a contract."
This is not how you treat guests, by screaming and yelling at them. Unacceptable behavior and extremely poor customer service!
The next morning, in the lobby- in a public space- where breakfast was served at 10am. The United States Hockey Team had just won the Gold Medal. The entire lobby/breakfast area cheered in unison. We were also scolded by what I would assume was your hotel manager for being too loud.
Overall...If you don't want your hotel sold out (yep we sold out your hotel in a small town) then you should not allow blocks to be sold to what you know is a hockey team.
Train your staff to have been customer service. There is a right way to go about asking people to PLEASE leave an area, or PLEASE start packing up your things we will need you to start leaving the room.
I liked everything was a good stay good staff
The breakfast was not very good the eggs tasted like paste along with the sausages
que todo está limpio y la atención
Very clean hotel. Staff were awesome, very accommodating! We will be staying again! Only downfall for us was there wasn't a hot tub. Otherwise, completely recommend!
