Pros:

We were checked in by Arpana on arrival. She was so professional, welcoming and kind. She explained some of the history of the hotel and that the Hotel was turning 100. The room was perfect and clean. The hotel was such a nice surprise, with a heritage feel.

Lovely hotel, would stay again

Lots of character and very cosy

Cons:

Could do with more cleaning in the hallways. Our room service plates ( and others) were in the hall for over 24 hours. Areas of glass in the restaurant and foyer were very marked with fingerprints that weren’t cleaned during our stay. Stair carpets needed a vacuum.
Also quite a lot of mould in the shower, which could easily be fixed.
The rest of the room however was immaculate.

Really nice place and would love to come back.
Pros:

I like the vibe, I like the staff attention at reception ...very good. I like the old world charm and the environment is beautifully curated across all areas.

Cons:

The gym was underwhelming but still served its purpose.
Also, I sat down to breakfast as soon as the dining area opened. The cleaner continued to vacuum for a good 10 minutes after that. The kitchen staff we're quite ready yet either. My suggestion is: when the dining area is open, all staff should be ready for full attention to clients, and cleaning should be already complete.

Good location.

Cons:

The bed sheets were not clean and had visible stains, which was disappointing and did not meet the expected standard of cleanliness. In addition, our experience with the reception staff was not positive. We found them to be less welcoming and less attentive when interacting with us. In contrast, they appeared to be much friendlier and more accommodating towards local guests, which made us feel uncomfortable and less valued as customers.

my old favourite low rise hotel.
Pros:

i have always loved the hotel and stayed many times.I love the single story building and the large rooms.The linen is good as are the pillows. I should prefer cakes of soap to dishwashing liquid in the bathroom .

Cons:

i am not happy with the costly car park ($18.00 ? I pay less in Melbourne and Sydney for adjacent patking )introduced nor the restricted parking ( once free to guests) in the semi circular driveway.We now park outside on the street.
