Cons:

They charge you for parking, stating it is secure. But it is just on a lot on the side of the street and no different to parking on the street. The rooms are small compared to other hotels in Canberra. Additionally the smoke alarms glow green which lights up the entire room and makes it almost impossible to sleep.

Cons:

Family room above us was SO noisy. Kids running up and down from a very early hour. There was no hot water in the evening. No ice in fridges so had to go looking for it and staff in restaurant were hard to summon.

I love being at the Kurrajong. Back in 10 days' time for 5 nights! :)
Pros:

Love its history, beautiful furnishings, quiet comfortable room for work and rest. Easy walk to Parliament House and to Kingston.

I wasn't impressed with the air conditioning system. We constantly rang the front office as we couldn't control the air temperature. Apart from that overall the Hotel was great
