Another comfy stay
Pros:

Nice weekend away stay in a lovely hotel
Pros:

The location was down the road from and exhibition we were attending.

Cons:

It’s quite rambling and was a little confusing to get around. The signage was not as clear as it could have been.

Cons:

The tv should have written instructions in each room on how to use it. Our tv was inoperable (by us) for the last day of our visit.

Likewise the in-house phone. Could not get through on it.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel anchored in history but providing an excellent standard of facilities and ambience. Cannot think how my room could be improved!

Cons:

Ate along in the restaurant and, keen to eat quickly and get out, felt a little ignored by the wait staff (eg, had to remind them about drinks order)

Vielversprechendes Mittelklasse-Hotel, leider enttäuschend
Pros:

Kostenloses Parken an ruhiger Seitenstraße möglich, Supermarkt und gutes Take-away gleich um die Ecke!

Cons:

Personal machte falsche Angaben auf die Fragen nach Supermarkt und Essgelegenheiten in der Nähe. Auch sonst keine besondere Willkommensatmosphäre an der Rezeption. Kein Frühstücksbuffet, sondern wenige fest zusammengestellte eher teure Frühstücksmöglichkeiten, die man am Tag vorher buchen muss. Zimmer extrem klein, Preisgestaltung der Übernachtung fragwürdig. Hotel liegt weit weg von der Innenstadt und es gibt praktisch keinen öffentlichen Nahverkehr dorthin. Da wir abends nicht mehr mit dem Auto in die Innenstadt wollten, waren die Möglichkeiten eingeschränkt. Umso ärgerlicher, wenn das Personal die eigene Umgebung nicht kennt. Bilder im Internet suggerieren modernes Hotel, es ist aber ein Altbau.
