Too short maybe next time we will enjoy more of what Canberra has to offer.
Pros:

Beautiful facilities, clean, good food

Cons:

The garden was closed for a wedding (no problem). However, the terrace was also closed - no wedding guests were on the terrace during the duration of the wedding, however hotel guests were not allowed to use the terrace for drinks. The staff informed hotel guests that we could drink our cocktails in the lobby. Not acceptable and the lobby was full of guests waiting to check in so no chairs were available. While I understand that the hotel benefits from wedding bookings it needs to make suitable arrangements for the paying guests. We came away with friends to relax in the garden & terrace. There was no notification that either of these areas were not available when we booked. Disappointing as we come to this hotel on every visit to Canberra.

Very comfortable stay in an interesting heritage building
Pros:

The property was easy to get to and the carpark access was straightforward. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.

The room was clean and spacious although a little dark. Parking was available at a price and was close by. We did not make use of the restaurant for breakfast.
