The best location in Oxford. Staff was friendly. Welcome tea was very nice. Clean bathroom and great service.
The hotel staff was excellent, but if the restaurant staff (including chefs) could be more friendly with some smiles, like if they could greet guests consistently with friendly attitude whenever seeing guests, that would take this hotel's service to perfection, in my opinion.
Wonderful rooms. Brilliant location. Ambiance. Central parking.
BEAUTIFUL HOTEL AND SO WAS OUR ROOM. THE BREAKFAST WAS ALSO LOVELY AND ALL THE STAFF WENT OUT OF THE WAY AND WERE SO INFORMATIVE AND WENT THE EXTRA MILE.
The staff were extremely helpful and caring. We ended up taking some wrong directions and ended up in the bus lane gate outside the hotel. The receptionist was very apologetic. We were given two complimentary breakfasts as a result and a voucher for two cocktails. This was most welcome and a pleasant surprise. That approach was above and beyond. The room and bathroom were beautifully presented. Being able to leave our car after checking out was also a bonus.
Can't think of anything. Everything was perfect.
The team on Reception were extremely helpful and found us a quiet area to have a cup of tea with a good friend and her 3 month old daughter. The brasserie, Quod, looks fun, but would potentially have been too noisy and indeed we might have disturbed other guests!
Not the hotel's fault at all - they could not have been more helpful - but the Congestion Charge in the City Centre came as a bit of a surprise, even for a Londoner! Navigating to the handy car park at the rear of the hotel was also trickier than expected: we needed to drive on this occasion but will hopefully just come by train next time!
Great location. Lovely room.
The lift was v noisy (and close to our room)
What a wonderful hotel . Perfectly located in the centre of Oxford with the most incredible view opposite .
From the point of booking the staff could not have been more helpful and when we arrived it continued throughout our stay . Parking on site is a bonus . The rooms are lovely and of a high standard . We didn’t use the facilities as we were only there for opening he and had plans but all looked lovely . Book a stay , you won’t regret it
A luxurious stay in this centrally located hotel with very good amenities and service. I particularly liked the tea making kit with several english breakfast sachets and a mini bottle of fresh milk in the fridge.
