Please be aware of traffic restrictions on the High Street between 7:30 and 6:30 pm, close to the front of the hotel. Please access the hotel parking lot via Merton Street and Magpie Lane and beware of driving on the High Street between these times. The hotel can be contacted for driving directions.

Great location and great facilities.
We stayed in this very nice and expensive hotel on the 10 th June ! No complaints about the hotel whatsoever but beware if you like us are tourists and driving a rental car ! We used the post code for specifically the car park even to us by the Hotel !
We arrived at circa 11.45 am on June 10th .. All good .
However today I received an email informing me of an £42 administration charge and a fine attached from Oxford County Council.. I’m extremely disappointed and annoyed and we will not be returning to either the Hotel or the City again.. We had a new Volvo X40 ( just 2000 miles )and not even Google maps are aware of the congestion routes ! So much for tourism.. I’ve phoned the hotel and I got the impression they’ve heard this many times and weren’t particularly interested..Despite the fact that the congestion charge is new !!!
Here’s the thing… You’re driving a rental car in a city that you’re from outside the country and not familiar with the city .. You use the given car park post code and you end up with a congestion charge, admin charge from Hertz for having to email me ! Yep Good luck … We won’t be back !

Air conditioning could not keep up with a warm June day.
Everything was just excellent!
But the bid surprise was the breakfast package which we got, leaving at Monday morning at 6.30 am…it was wonderful and very tasty!

The right side of the bed was strangely sloped or even a little saggy. You constantly felt like you were lying on a slanted surface. The left side of the bed was fine.
The Old Bank hotel is a very special place, we so enjoyed our stay! The accommodations were exceptional, amazing staff and the location doesn’t get any better! Highly recommend!
It’s all about the location! The guy on check in was so helpful and gave us some tips for our first visit to Oxford
Breakfast was a big disappointment, i gave up wrestling with the sourdough toast which was cold and hard!

Beautiful hotel in a central location that provides outstanding service. We had a great view from our room and could not fault one thing and will return for sure.
The room is lovely, wonderful bathroom fluffy towels great shower and bath. Staff are professional and friendly. F&B offer is exceptional.
The only minor issue is the parking, this could of been better signposted
