Great location looking over the royal troon golf course to the beach, genuine Scottish hospitality and service, good food for dinner & breakfast. Staff were so helpful.
Weather could have been better 😁 but it's only April.
Staff very welcoming and helpful.
Rushed and poor quality breakfast. Dirty showers in pool area.
Beautiful location , excellent friendly staff.
Mini bar and snacks not replenished. Having stayed regularly over the past 2 years the food quality in the bar has declined.
location right on the coast. excellant resteraunt but poor breakfast
breakfast
Stayed a few times as we live over the water!
The staff are super friendly but not too gushy!
My only gripe is some of the rooms we've stayed in are looking a bit tired with peeling veneer on the bedroom furniture and we had chipped cups and saucers in the room. I booked a treatment and because of their dynamic pricing the treatment I had was £10 more than the previous day?! They should just have a blanket cost no matter what day of the week you book your treatment.
The beds and pillows are really comfy for a good nights sleep!
Staff attentive and kind. Location next to beach and view to Arran
Friendly staff, quirky decor and lovely views of sea and golf course
Room was on the cold side and radiator didn’t make a huge difference. Breakfast was average and bar service a bit slow. Pool area busy and hotel could improve area by making warmer shower near steam room- several men do not shower without this option and entered pool after sweating.
Everything ideal for what I was looking for. Staff all very friendly and helpful, room small but comfortable & immaculate, was ideal for a couple of days to work, relax & use the health suite facilities.
Lovely clean room, great views, welcoming helpful staff, tasty food and attentive service.
Couldn’t get spa treatments, need to book well ahead of stay.
Our stay was so lovely and we will hopefully return one day!
From the easy and welcoming check in to the friendly doormen, the dinner and breakfast who were friendly and attentive and the spa staff who gave us fabulous and relaxing treatments (I think she was called connie?) and the friendly and knowledgable bar staff all these interactions helped make our stay so enjoyable
Staff and facilities were excellent 👌
Restrictive menus for dinner
Had the perfect weekend at the Marine Troon. Everything was perfect but special mention to Joan at reception who managed our booking and John in the spa who was so friendly. All of the staff were exceptional, the food was beautiful and the location is stunning.
“Very special location”
“Loved every minute of my stay”
Went for dinner on the day of my husbands birthday. Had a table booked for 6pm, got there and there was no table available. They asked us to wait at the bar, when a table eventually became free we seated ourselves and had to wave someone over to ask them if we could order food. We chased them up after seeing other people who ordered after us getting their food and it turns out they had forgot to put our order through. Ended up leaving and going back to our hotel. Had a lovely meal at our hotel, where the service is brilliant. Would highly recommend the piersland house next door.
