It need updating. Very old room and bathroom.

This hotel was the worst that I have seen. The owners obviously do not invest ANY money into maintaining the facility. This is evident from the minute you walk into the place. The walls are dirty and the front desk itself looks like it was originally built with the hotel. Only one of the two elevators is functional and the one that works is old and completely dingy and it's knobs and face plate are worn, dirty and scratched. The walls of the elevator match it's knobs. Infact, on the panel where the floors numbers light up, the 4TH. floor light is taped over with a piece of paper with the number "4" printed on it. Up stairs (2ND. Floor) complimented the 1St. very well - dingy walls, dim lihhting and old carpet. The room size was fine with 2 bads. But the 70's TV set, lamps, dead telephone with most of it's knobs missing and chairs need to be thrown out. The refrigerator door was falling off the hinges so I didn't bother to look into it. We spent one night and next morning the electricity in the bathroom just suddenly cut off, never to come back. so we could not shower and had to use our cellphone flash lights to wash our faces and brush our teeth. Fortunately, I happened to have enough power on my phone to use it"s flash light because I discovered that th outlet on the lamp didn't charge the phone the night before. Here's the good news .. I understand that there may be another hotel in the area. Check-in to that one, it cannot be worse than this one. I have asked my wife to ask for a refund.
Great location for hiking on the mountain. Great balcony view of the mountain. Spacious clean room. A sauna room. Friendly efficient staff.
Most of the equipment in the gym was broken. Some areas of the building were a little tired but no biggie there.

Outdoor atmosphere
Needs update
Close to camalback. The views are amazing loved the warmed pool and balcony . The outdoor area was good to hangout.
The rooms smelled so musty and felt humid . Definitely in need of renovations . It’s lined with carpets and it gives very antique vintage vibes the lighting makes it’s seem very dim and haunted lol. Love the proximity to where I needed to be .
