Great hotel in central location
Pros:

Onsite parking and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Also quiet despite its central location.

Cons:

No lift. So if you struggle with mobility, this is something to be aware of. But the staff are very helpful and they will do all they can to accommodate you.

A hidden gem with incredible staff who went above and beyond.
Pros:

Staff could not have been more helpful. Genuinely. And our room was excellent. Breakfast delicious, plentiful and freshly cooked.

Cons:

One (very) small suggestion - to improve kitchen ventilation as breakfast aromas very strong even in our second floor room!

an overnight stop while in transit
Pros:

Arrived later than expected but the young lady on Reception went out of her way to ensure everything was organised and in place

Cons:

A power socket by the bed or dressing table would not go amiss

A very relaxing stay in a beautiful buildng.
Pros:

The hotel has a friendly, comfortable feel. The staff were all friendly and available. The room was comfortable and very quiet, which we really appreciated. The area is steeped in history and the information relating to the history of the building was much appreciated. We also liked the picture portraits of the previous owners, in historical sequence.

Cons:

The TV wasn't working to well but that didn't bother us, less screen time is always a bonus!
