Wonderful boutique property! Staff was a 10+ from the lobby staff to everyone in their restaurant, Melvyn’s. Too short of a stay. We can’t wait to go back.
Thank you!
Could have used a full length mirror in the room
Excellent stay. Lovely property and room. Great pool area. Fantastic location to walk to all the great dining options in the area. Thanks to all the staff especially Dan and the team on the front desk.
Elegant, historic but not dated, quiet & unfussy vibe, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and spacious room, private terrace with gorgeous Mountain View.
There was no signage in the front/main driveway to identify Reception (only in the rear parking area) so we (and we weren’t the only ones) made a loop or two of the property before guessing correctly that the first set of doors was indeed for the hotel (as Melvyn’s restaurant is attached to the main hotel building that was not obvious). Check-in itself was easy and staff were friendly and eager to assist.
Cute and quiet. Would stay again.
We had such a pleasant stay. The staff was always helpful. The grounds are beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean. I would definitely come back.
Everything about our stay was exceptional
You can feel the treasured and cool past
The property is beautiful, and the rooms are lovely and stylish while also being comfortable.
Beautiful - the history
More history readily available at the venue
What a beautiful, historic hotel. Staff were great and dinner and breakfast at Melvyn’s restaurant was superb!
Location
Authenticity
The bed wasn’t very comfortable and cigarette smoke from outside seeped into our room. The hotel would benefit from a bit of an overall “refresh””.
Ingleside is such a graceful old property — with pretty gardens, an elegant pool, and simple and lovely rooms. We found it really calming. The property is well maintained. The room and the linens were immaculate. There were fat jars of Aesop products in the bathroom. The bed was very comfy. The room came with a mini fridge, robes, slippers, mini bar, steamer, iron, hair dryer etc. The staff were friendly, professional and natural. We found our stay genuinely relaxing and we’ll be back!
(Oh and the access to the other hotel was a real boon— there were three other pools there, a nicely air conditioned gym equipped with pelotons, rowing machines, free weights and a couple of weight machines)
Lovely hotel nestled away close enough to walk to downtown Palm Springs.
It feels like you are in your own private oasis.
Food at Melvyns is great, staff and helpful and attentive.
Really liked the private courtyard. One episode of noisy neighbours.
Nice property.
This place is a slice of old Hollywood glam. Centrally located in a very quiet upscale neighborhood just a few walkable blocks from downtown. Beautiful well kept, shaded grounds and pool, very friendly/helpful staff, and dog friendly too. We stayed for two quick nights mid-week and sadly did not eat at Melvyns, although we've been before, the place/menu looks like it's had a face lift. We'll def come back when we have more time to properly enjoy w/ some cocktails ;)
