Lovely hotel, comfortable room. Fantastic breakfast and evening meal. Fabulous decor and would definitely recommend. Fantastic location in gorgeous Chipping Campden.
Nothing.
Great location, friendly obliging staff serving our party of 13.
Could be more proactive with tea/coffee at breakfast perhaps.
Very charming. Great staff
Nothing
Quaint, clean and spacious accommodation
We stayed during a heatwave and with no air conditioning it was very hot, but I don’t expect period accommodation to have AC fitted
In centre of town. Lots to see and do. Restaurant and bar were great
Our room was the closest to the main road and got a lot of road noise
Very nice location in one of the most iconic Cotswolds town
Very noisy until late at night from the people drinking in the area outside the bar which was right below my room
Lekker ontbijt
It was a pleasure to stay, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
In my error I should have said I struggle to walk up stairs, I am sure if I would have said something they would have resolved my problem.
Convenience to the town and event close by which we were attending.
Way overpriced. The hotel is old but needs refurbishing. We had a huge very noisy air conditioning unit in the bedroom with a pipe hanging out of the window. We were also opposite the beer garden which was also noisy. Breakfast average. Would not be writing this if we had not paid so much.
Breakfast was excellent. A special mention to the chef and waitress who served us early as we had a flight to catch (Sunday 5 July)
A decent sized room and comfortable bed.
The shower had minimal temperature control and was difficult to turn off resulting in a constant drip.
The room was too hot. A fan was supplied but it was too noisy to sleep with it on.
The bedroom, dining room and bar were all great, + bonus of coffee and cake area. Lovely shaded seating in the courtyard which was great as it was a warm few days. Waiting staff all lovely too!
Air con in the rooms would have been useful as the fan provided didn t cool the room, but we did not spend much time in our room and fortunately it was cooler in the evening, so on this occasion wasn't a problem for us.
It had a nice welcoming atmosphere
Friendly, professional staff. Great location. Excellent food.
