We loved our room. It was updated, roomy, comfortable and had so much character! We dined there and loved it. The staff was so kind, warm, helpful and friendly.
Our wonderful room did not have AC and it was hot in our room. They did provide a very powerful and effective fan.

Restaurant food is magnificent (have the black curry, superb)
My room (room 8) was too hot even though it was a cool day. Power supply in the room are quite sparse. At a minimum it needs extension leads.
I was also overcharged £138 due to an admin error. The hotel corrected this as soon as I raised it however if I hadn’t I suspect I would have lost that.
Family room was good, clean tidy and enough space as we also took our puppy.
The puppy treats bag was a lovely touch.
The bathroom needed updating as it was worn and of poor repair in some areas.

Very minor point but a bit of a wait for the pre-booked breakfast to come out from the kitchen. When it came was lovely though!
Staff friendly, quirky but an interesting hotel
Room was too hot, electricity plugs not near one side of bed. Some plugs were not UK standard, and didn’t work. Didn’t appear to be any lifts, we were on first floor.
Lovely hotel. Lovely food, would recommened the lamb curry. Very relaxed atmosphere and in a great location. Staff were courteous and helpful.
It was resolved amicably but we were not informed that the spa was closed despite this being the main draw for me.
Location, room (though the bathroom needed a bit of a maintenance), breakfast, the hotel overall was cozy and lovely.

Bed sheet stained, in fairness I didn’t bring it to their attention assuming housekeeping would notice and change it when they made up my room. They could not have missed it, yet they made the bed up leaving the stained sheet.
We had a wonderful 2 night Birthday stay! My sister had organised some flowers upon arrival,they were beautiful. Our room was lovely! The bed was very comfortable and the fan in the room as well needed as it was very hot that weekend. Breakfast was excellent also.
