A great choice for a stay in Chipping Campden.
Pros:

This is a lovely old inn, sympathetically updated to provide comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms (with good traditional style fittings), as well as a cosy bar, popular coffee shop and spacious restaurant. The food is delicious; the Indian chef offers some interesting Asian dishes along with pub classics and some fine dining options - good ingredients all beautifully cooked and presented. The desserts were wonderful! And breakfast was also well up to this standard.
Importantly, all the staff were helpful and attentive too.

Cons:

The first room we stayed in seemed to be above some sort of noisy fan or boiler but when we spoke to Reception they were very responsive. Thank you.

Pros:

Lovely old building, bedrooms in need of refurb, great position and parking, very relaxed atmosphere

Cons:

We were told by email,it was £15 for our boxer for one night,we were charged £20 and also made to sit in a cold bar area, alone, and a fair way from the breakfast produce,if you charge £15/20 pr night for a dog you should be properly catered for.
