A real genuine stay in an old hotel. Staff nice and friendly. Beds comfortable.
No fridge in the room even a small one would have been handy for those that a travelling although they where kind enough to allow us to place small items into a kitchen fridge.
Fab location and great staff.
I know it’s an old property so although the floorboards creaked a lot, it was a constantly dripping tap which was a tad annoying but nevertheless the hotel is great.
Beautiful heritage building with character retained, warm welcome, excellent staff, very comfortable bed. Excellent location. Great outdoor area/ beer garden.
Room was very warm more so than other areas in the hotel.
Very expensive for room and requested twin beds but got a double bed with separate linen
Beautiful historic property. Comfortable and well furnished.
Or son and daughters room was very hot even with windows open and fans on. Ours was fine.
Excellent breakfast in every way all the stuff is nice and fresh highly recommend
My wife wasn’t overly impressed with the evening menus the hotel had an Indian head chef so lots of the meals were Asian cuisine but was absolutely fine for me.
Super raccomandato.
Well located in the middle if Campden with parking
The room we had could do with a refersh. Great bed, very big & comfy. The curtains s needed sorting out and we couldn’t open the windows. Looked a bit tired. The shower worked but not very well.
Dinner and breakfast good. Nice decor in public rooms improved since our last visit 4 years ago
Bed was very uncomfortable, room was hot so had fan on all night. Outside noise from nearby properties at 11pm but nit fault of hotel.
Wonderful building in the heart of the village
Not a lot of character in the bed rooms
Quaint with character
Buffet breakfast and wait staff
Walking distance to the start of the Cleveland Way
Central location in town
Lovely staff
On-site free parking
No fridge
The hotel is in a great location, right across from the historic market hall and start of the Cotswolds way. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was very good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
We stayed during a particularly warm bit of weather, and the lack of air conditioning made the room too hot to be comfortable. The provided fan helped.
Posizione, pub, cucina e colazione
