I sent my daughter and husband for a mini honeymoon.. they loved the hotel .. and the special touches that were done for them .. they said it was beautiful and traditional
No complaints
The meals were exceptional. Good price and lovely.
Nothing.
Brilliant location, car park, lovely old rooms with uneven floor and walls. Big room, big bathroom, really friendly staff and round fab
Nothing
Very comfortable room and bed. Excellent evening meal and tasty breakfast!
Nice hotel
Photo of pool is somewhat misleading: 1. It is not a pool but spa area for adults only 2. It is not in the premise of the hotel but across the road. Baby cot provided without a mattress just hard bottom.
It was ok
Please mind there is no ev charging at this property, there sister property will charge you 17pound per 1 hour so not worth it if you looking for ev charging
This is our second stay at the Noel Arms Hotel. The room was comfortable and housekeeping excellent. Restaurant staff were pleasant and helpful, with a special mention of Taya who worked in the evenings. She was extremely efficient and pleasant and demonstrates a close attention to detail.
However there are some negatives.
We stayed for 4 days and noticed a distinct absence of managerial presence. On checking out, the lady at reception overcharged us by £120.
This was corrected when we questioned her billing calculations, which should not have been necessary.
The outside step to the rooms is dangerous as the flagstones are loose. These flagstones need to be cemented in place urgently as it was the same situation in February 2025 and has still not been addressed.
Curries for dinner were a bit disappointing and not of the same excellent standard as before. The king prawn curry was watery and the beef curry was tough.
Overall, the room was comfortable although the plug in the washbasin did not fit which was awkward.
The room was very comfortable and our meals taken there were very good.
Nothing really.
Great location, lovely building and friendly staff. We liked that fact we weren’t attached (that we were aware of) to another room, especially with travelling with a baby. Great choice of an alternative breakfast, for somebody who doesn’t really do breakfast, a veggie curry was perfect to start the day!
Family room temp was very high, we were told that the heating would click off at a certain time, but it never did & we were unable to manually turn heating down, not great when room is averaging over 20+ degrees with a baby. Full English breakfast was very small, but thankfully selection of buffet table to compensate.
Easy and straightforward to understand the routine of the hotel great food and lovely staff
Nothing
Breakfast and dinner were delicious with a great choice. I always stay in the same room which is extremely comfortable. The staff are always cheerful and helpful
Chloe and Taya were very helpful and friendly.
water tabs were old style and very inconvenient, room's window being open exposed us to the car park so we couldnt open curtains. room was also very small.
Staff were generally polite and efficient. Room was warm and comfortable. Evening meals were of a good portion size, well-cooked and presented.
The plug in bathroom basin did not function and the television worked spasmodically on a small number of channels only.
Pillows too hard
