We thought breakfast was very disappointing. We booked for 9am with pre orders given on previous evening, at hotel’s request, and a made to order breakfast was promised, which it definitely was not. Cooked breakfast with no beans was ordered, beans were delivered and bacon was dry and overcooked. The second order of smoked salmon and scrambled egg(s) was obviously served with one egg, never seen such a poor helping of scrambled eggs in any hotel before. Fresh fruit salad bowl had about 4/5 items in bowl and pastries were similarly scarce. It really seemed that breakfast was on a very controlled budget! We did get some more when we asked but we should not have had to ask!! We got tea and coffee but we’re not asked if we would like anymore!

Quaint, well decorated, well cared for, clean.
Our room, outside of the main hotel, was stuffy. The only window that opened was on the ground floor directly across from where people sat outside. So, we lost privacy when trying to get air.
This was disappointing considering the rest of the property was comfortable.
Very nice hotel in the center of the village. The restaurant was really good, and they made a deal of not having to many booked guests at the same time in the restaurant. Extremely good food, both Dinner and Breakfast.
The hotel is in a historic building that is charming. Location is perfect for the start of the Cotswold Way. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good.

Great location. Spacious room (number 1). Very nice and efficient staff. Great food and a large carpark.

Not their fault that it was record heat and the rooms have no air-conditioning and the windows can not be opened. They did provide a fan that helped a little. Staff was very helpful and did the best they could in a tough situation.

The best location to start the Cotswolds Way. The starting point is just across the hotel. Beautiful room with cool decorations. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.

It was a lovely hotel, great ambiance, food in the restaurant was great, and proximity to the trailhead for the Cotswold Way was amazing - just across the street!
