Our dream wedding
Pros:

Me and my now husband got married here in November 2019 and have visited to stay since.

The tour round to start with completely sold us and we knew this was the place for us.
The build up to the wedding, Frankie was like a old friend from the start when talking to her and nothing you asked felt like too much. She had lots of knowledge, advice and ideas.
We had free use of the gym and pool for 3 months before the wedding which we loved.
The menu tasting was lovely and we throughly enjoyed all the options, this made it a very hard choice!

The week before the wedding was non stressful whatsoever. Frankie and the team made everything seem very under control and our final run through was all smooth sailing.

Me and my family and bridesmaids stayed the night before and we were treated what to us felt like royalty, we had Prosecco and treats in the room and all the staff seemed as excited as I was for the big day ahead.
We had a meal in the blue room which was absolutely delicious!!

The day of the wedding… was perfect.
Frankie, Russel and their team nailed it.
Everything was how i pictured it. They ran through everything with me in the morning, they left me and my bridal party to enjoy our morning while they did all the hard work. We had breakfast in our room, again delicious!

Our guests loved the hotel and its staff, especially the bar staff!!
The evening do I asked for extra tables and In under 5 mins Russel had his team had set up 2 extra tables for guests - no hassle.

The cake cutting was unique because we got to chose a sword to use and made great photos!

Couldn’t fault the team here and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue!

The Spa is disgusting
Pros:

My sisters and I booked a surprise spa break for my mum for her 50th birthday and were very disappointed.

From the moment we step in the place we were horrified especially because we got there for as soon as it opened which we would of thought the place should be clean..

There was dead skin and lots of little bits in the pool and the spa receptionist who was wearing a black puma tracksuit and a cap said the filter must not be working he will replace it later. My question was why was it not check in the morning and if reply was he forgot.

All I will say is don’t go there....

Beautifully decorated
Pros:

My Mother, my 5 year old daughter and I stayed here in March. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is stunning, the grounds are lovely. The interiors are decorated beautifully. I've got to admit when I read the most recent reviews I was slightly worried but trust me I have the most particular, picky Mother and she didn't have a bad word to say! We dined in the restaurant at night, the food was lovely - although the children's fruit and ice cream left a lot to be desired.. browning pineapple and grapefruit. Everything else was perfect. Breakfast was lovely. The pool was lovely and warm. Very pleased and we would definitely return.

Pros:

Need better clarification of excessive price for dogs to stay and also of the fact the pool is closed on Mondays. Otherwise it is pleasant and our two night stay there was comfortable, cosy and perfectly acceptable.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

My husband and I stayed here for a 2 night stay and booked direct with the hotel. The price was very good value for money with breakfast both mornings and dinner on 1 night included.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, Sue and Russell were great.
The room was just the right size. Clean and tidy.
We could of used the spa facilities but didnt get the time.
The food was delicious! Being a coeliac I worry when eating out but I had no problems at all here.
We wouldnt think twice about returning!
Keep up the good work guys :-)

Great value really nice food and great service
Pros:

Very friendly staff. The service could not have been better and the food for both the evening meal and breakfast was really nice. Probably the best of any hotels I’ve stayed in. Great value rooms. Big, and I mean huge rooms. The shower was hot and powerful and the beds were harder than I would usually like but still comfortable. It is a little dated but the staff make the very best of an old decor and fittings. There was a lot of nice artwork around the place but the view from the room was basically a roof so not great but the surrounding area was lovely and there was plenty of nice places to rest your gaze around the hotel. It is dated but it was very reasonably priced so can’t complain. All in all a great stay. Defo book for dinner though because the restaurant is quite small for the size of the hotel.

Good size room, lovely setting
Pros:

Great size room with space to relax at a table, full bathroom and all the amenities you'd expect. Free use of gym and pool, little dated but good extra. Nice surroundings and views of the fields but still only 5 minutes walk to the village conveniences. Only slight disappointment poor water pressure in the shower but overall a comfortable and good value stay.

Spa morning and afternoon tea
Pros:

Went to Llyndir Hall for a spa and afternoon tea. Spa was a little dated but we did have the pool to ourselves which was warm and enjoyable. Afternoon tea was excellent. Lots of lovely finger sandwiches, delicious cakes and gorgeous scones, jam and clotted cream. Staff very good especially Sue who is definitely an asset to the hotel. She was efficient, friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. Will definitely do this again.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

I visited this hotel for a one night stay whilst visiting Chester. The hotel was lovey and clean. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Bedroom and bathroom facilities good and clean. However, no heating or radiator in the room so a bit chilly. Not many tv channels due to weather but this is out of the hotels control. WiFi service not the best but this may be due to location. Evening meal worth the money if booked in the package at the start (£39.99 each if pay on day, around £45 for 2 when pre-booked). Both the evening meal and breakfast were average.

5***** Service LLYNDIR HALL HOTEL
Pros:

As a mature couple, we have stayed in many hotels and rarely leave a review.
However, no where have we had better service or come across friendlier competent staff. They make your stay a pleasure from start to finish.
Special thanks to Sue and Connor for a lovely weekend. Will definitely be returning to this beautiful hotel.

1 night stay
Pros:

Beautiful hotel. Lovely friendly staff. Food was delicious, both evening meal and breakfast.
Our room was lovely.
Our only complaint was the people next door to us who thought it was ok to talk loudly, shout and have the tv on max till gone 2am. This is no reflection on the hotel and would definitely stay again.

Very clean but in dire need of refurb!
Pros:

I recently stayed here on a business trip and whilst my room (24) was spotlessly clean it was also very tired and the smell of smoke was awful. It was a no smoking room but the stale smell was attached to the carpets and furnishings I think. The lamps were torn and only one was working, they were mismatched and the headboard wasn’t the right size for the bed. In fact this was a twin room with the beds stuck together. Everything was a little old and shabby but as previously stated it was very clean. The plus point was the price and also the restaurant food which was very nice. I would stay again for a good value business trip if I was in the area but sadly I wouldn’t book for a personal stay. Sorry...but it’s time for an overhaul!

Amazing Stay With Great Value
Pros:

Good location.Wonderful food and friendly, helpful and attentive staff.
Spectacular value would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable break.
I have stayed in higher rated hotels that have not had anywhere near service levels or quality of food that this stay offered.

Pros:

Grateful for attentive and caring service staff - from the young people waiting table in the dining room to courteous bar staff and concered reception/managerial staff. Surprisingly excellent dinner while breakfast typical of self-serve options. Understand others' opinions referencing "tired" and "uncomfortable bed" and adequate for a bargain mini-break. Great location and understand why it's popular for weddings.

mini break
Pros:

Mini break away for myself and partner. First impressions on the hotel looked great with nice surroundings. Room was pretty standard no option of an upgrade, bed a little uncomfortable. Went down to use the leisure facilities and gym, pool filthy, gym well if you want to call it a gym had the oldest equipment I have seen, there cross trainer was rusty and squeeks.
Opted to stay and have dinner in the hotels restaurant, nice ambiance, food we both really enjoyed with a bottle of prosecco. The manager on duty Dave was excellent, great service and very professional. Breakfast the next morning was OK just seemed a little under staffed. Hotel to keep in mind but we wouldn't rush to return

Tired hotel
Pros:

The staff were really friendly and helpful. But the bedroom and hotel itself was very dark and dingy and depressing. Apart from the dining room which they had spent some money in modernising.

The bedroom was really dated and dark. The tv was not working properly but was at the wrong angle to view anyway. Bathroom fine.

The food in the dining room for dinner was fine.
