Such a shame the breakfast was substandard in everyway
Pros:

The grounds and external look

Cons:

The breakfast experience was appalling. The buffet breakfast laid out in the entrance hall does not work. Morning golfers in and out main door crossing over buffet area, people going to and from pool, guests coming and going. The 2 main staff were manic & couldnt keep up with the footfall of guests having breakfast. Had to wait for plates, to be served hot food, for bread, for pastries. Egg overcooked, bacon chewy. First time ever I have left the cooked breakfast & had a piece of toast. The whole service was chaotic & unpleasant, man serving food after picking wax out of his ear. We were amongst many that felt it was poor. When we checked out we were not asked about our stay. Food was rationed only 2 pieces of bacon ( it was crap so didnt eat), cheap tea bags that tasted like they were past best before date. No choice to have alternative egg, no ataff capacity. The organisation of the breakfast was very poor. Easily resolved. Move cooked food into kitchen take cooked food order , free up sraff coming and going and guests and ataff would manage with the 4 staff they had

Quiet, comfortable countryside stay with excellent friendly service: great value
Pros:

We loved this hotel/country club for the following reasons:
Quiet, country location, lovely welcome and attention to our needs throughout by Jess, Charlotte and Michelle, comfortable double aspect character room overlooking the golf course all complimented by a great breakfast and included accessibility to large pool with jacuzzi and steam room. Excellent TV and WiFi. For us the location was perfectly central for our planned visits to Coventry cathedral, Warwick, Stratford and the National Trust houses of Baddesley Clinton and Packwood House. Yes, there was a crack in the bathroom sink and a lack of square three pin plugs in the room but the newly tiled bathroom and generous tea/coffee facilities and extremely comfortable beds made it all perfect for us. Excellent value for money and already planning a return. We thank all the staff and restaurant team very much.

Very happy with room and food. Great to have facilities and staff were excellent
Pros:

Room was great, with comfy bed, clean and everything I needed

Cons:

Shower head was a bit poor and gym/pool area seemed a bit aged. Gym would be great to be bigger. I did ask for a room with a veiw but got a tree. It was better than some I guess but was a slight disappointment

Comfortable stay in a good location. Would come again
Pros:

Good quality restaurant and excellent breakfasts. Swimming pool with steam room and jacuzzi, ground floor bedrooms, plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Very near Warwick, Leamington Spar and Kenilworth castle

Cons:

Some of the decor was a little tired and some quite large pot holes in the car park.

great facilities, hot beverage fee was hidden- should be told when offered
Pros:

The property was beautiful, and pool amenities great. The pool wasn’t busy, warm, and smelled amazing.

Cons:

The room wasn’t the cleanest, some hairs in bathtub and dust in most places. There was a hidden fee for tea and coffee of £10, we weren’t informed of this when offered tea or coffee at breakfast.

Comfortable hotel with good breakfast
Pros:

Excellent value for money. Comfortable bed in large bedroom. Accommodation was in a separate building but very close.

Good cooked breakfast but wish I had known to order fried eggs in advance.

Only downside was the massive potholes in the driveway and car park and the entrance could be better lit on dark nights.
