Cons:

I got charged for a full week to stay at a motel that called me and CANCELLED THE RESERVATION! They called me and last minute said sorry we do not have any rooms. The. Charged my card!? Wtf?! I am going to the news because that is theft! This property is lying about calling me to cancel and they stole all the money I had $421 on my credit card and the only card I have they left me in a really bad spot! Please someone help me I don’t know what to do I have proof of cancellation but yet nobody is helping me!

Awful, stay away!
Pros:

My stay was a complete disaster from start to finish. It began with water leaking nonstop from the bathroom faucet. To make matters worse, in the middle of a hot Florid night, the AC suddenly switched to heating on its own. When I called for help, I was told there was no maintenance staff on-site to handle it, and the phone representative's only "solution" was to suggest I check out. A thoroughly terrible experience with zero support.

Not recommended roaches bad customer service

I would not recommend staying at this Extended Stay America location.

My wife, our four daughters, and I checked into Room 104 expecting a clean and safe place to stay. As soon as we walked in, there was a strong foul odor throughout the room. We left to get dinner, hoping it was just a temporary smell.

When we returned, we found multiple roaches, including one on the floor and another in the bathroom. We immediately reported it to the front desk. The employee acknowledged the issue right away, told us she understood, and instructed us to check out and speak with the manager the next morning.

Because we were traveling with four young children, we had no choice but to leave after only about three hours and book another hotel at our own expense.

The next morning, I called the manager expecting an apology and a resolution. Instead, I was repeatedly told, “You were only in the hotel for three hours,” and was denied a refund. There was no apology, no concern for my family’s experience, and no accountability for the condition of the room.

To make matters worse, while checking into the Comfort Inn next door, the staff told us that several guests had recently left this Extended Stay due to unsanitary conditions and that we were the 11th family to switch hotels. That was extremely concerning.

I have photos of the roaches and have filed a formal complaint with Extended Stay America’s corporate office.

Families should not have to choose between staying in an unsanitary room or paying for another hotel. I hope management takes responsibility and addresses these issues so other guests don’t have the same experience we did.

Bring a hard copy
Pros:

Will not take a paper ID/ Driver License that the DMV gives you while you wait on the hard copy in the mail. I paid online and when I got there was turned away and my reservation was canceled and the lady was rude she said she has never encountered a paper ID/Driver License before … I offered to show the id I got from the police dept and they won’t accept them either
