Studio 6 Extended Stay Milwaukee Brookfield WI

The entire building is not clean. The entryway smells and the room itself was quite bad. The floors weren’t vacuumed, there was visible dirt on the carpet, the bathroom wasn’t clean, the kitchen counters were sticky and the ‘fully equipped’ kitchenette had literally nothing in it. No silverware, no plates, nothing. I asked the front desk around 6pm for plastic silverware and was told there wasn’t any. When I asked for any silverware at all I was told that they would have to wash some and it would be about half an hour?
The sofa bed was folded up with dirty linens in it. When I asked for more blankets the front desk wasn’t sure if there were any.
I was also told multiple times that I should be glad that my room was ready when I checked in at 5 because the hotel keeps getting overbooked. I would not have been happy to travel 3 hours with no notice that my room wasn’t ready.

The whole experience was horrible. I didn't even get to a room to see what they look like. First of all, I inform you guys that I was driving in and that would require me to check in late. My request was granted. When I got to the hotel at 6:45 p.m. I was told that the hotel was over booked and they didn't have a room for me.

It took me 45 minutes to get someone one the phone from booking.com. He tried helping to locate another hotel that could accommodate me. He was able to locate one, but the stay for 3 nights was $100 over my budget. He went to see if they would accept what I was able to pay, but unfortunately when he tried to get back on the line with me, the call got dropped. I ended up booking the room at the Comfort Inn in Waukesha, which was the location he said had a room for me. But as I said, it end up costing me $100 more, even though I booked it through book.com.

Am I able to get some refund on this booking since I was told by the customer service rep, that the total booking would cost me $307/including tax? I paid over $400 for those 3 nights.

The reviews warned me about cleanliness, and sure enough, it doesn't met the standard. The sink and toilet bowl were both dirty--basic cleanliness that I expect. The shower curtain was barely long enough and the shower head was weak. Though there was a kitchenette, including hotplates and full refrigerator, there wasn't a single plate, bowl, utensil, cooking tool, pot/pan, etc. Just completely bare, which makes no sense. I was lucky that when I checked in at 9 p.m. they still had a room--they said that the online services had overbooked them. Fortunately my reservation wasn't affected. I only went with this hotel because it was much cheaper than other properties, and I saw that it had a weak rating, so I wasn't surprised.

Place wasnt clean before we got there. Since this is a extended stay they only clean once a week. Wasn't any bugs but pet hair all over the room. Previous food left in the fridge etc.

Only 2 things that needs attention. 1 was there's no coffee pot in the room and when I took a shower this morning I felt very unsafe in the tub. It was very slippery and there were no safety handles ( which I thought was a state law)

My reservation price total was $100.85. They added on a $70 security deposit which was supposed to have been been refunded within 7 days. 16 days later and still no refund. Took a video of the room just before I left to show that the room was fine. Nobody at the front desk when I checked out. The way I look at it, they are nothing but thieves. Will NEVER stay there again or recommend it to anyone. This was on top of the fact I never was given a key to my room because I was told the electronic locks were not working.

They will not provide a key to your room you have to wait for them to let you in the room every time you leave your room

They turned me away at 9 at night because they overbooked their rooms.

Hot water was out for an extended period. Police banging on the door across the hall at 4:16 AM. Room keys die and they don't have a machine to recharge them nor provide keys to new guest checking in. The company allegedly overnighted a new machine to the wrong hotel.
The only saving grace is most of the staff here

This place is more like an apartment complex. There are many tenants who are staying there full-time the smell of cooked food was horrible. It had a very dirty greasy overall smell. The carpets were horribly dirty. The rooms were dirty full of hair. The bed was a broken down old mattress on a metal frame, overall very sketchy location and not great place to stay.
