I couldn’t sleep all night as the noise from the freeway was terrible!

This has been a really solid extended-stay experience: clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into for the long haul. The staff is friendly and works hard to keep everything running smoothly. I also appreciated the membership pricing—great value if you’re staying longer. Location is a big plus too: central, walkable to stores, and right next to a trail system. Safe neighborhood, too!

Everything was more than I expected. We had to leave at 5:00 in the morning, so we did not get to partake in the breakfast and I did not get a receipt, which I need for tax purposes. It can be emailed to me at amhurtado@charter.net. It was also a relatively short drive to the Stanford Eye Clinic where I had my surgery.

The Extended Stay America Mountain View Hotel is conveniently located across from 2 shopping centers, right next to CA-85 and El Camino Real, very close to SR 237 and US 101, and a short way down CA-85 to I-280. The underpass tunnel below El Camino on the Stevens Creek trail obviates the need to wait at any traffic lights to shop on foot. The trail is ideal for walking, walking dogs, running, biking, etc.

I'm grateful to the staff of ESA Mountain View for making me feel like family! They took excellent care of me for over 9 months, and are all super-nice and frendly people. Front Desk Lady Tara is expert at everything admin, and can often get you the best extension deals. Maintenance Man Omar can fix anything. All-around Guru Gaurub is working many hours/days/nights, at double speed, can often help with technical issues, and has good music taste. :) Weekend Woman Amy covers off-hours, always with a smile. Housecleaning Queen Victoria is super efficient, and always gave me a great opportunity to practice my Spanish. ;) Manager Mirabell constantly looks out for the safety and comfort of the guests.

Everyone that works the front desk has been very friendly and helpful, Tara is especially cheerful with her morning greeting when I stop in to grab breakfast. The room is clean and I appreciate the laminated flooring as there is no old carpet smell. There is a small kitchenette, with electric burners, and a full size fridge. The rooms facing the back garden/Stevens Creek path are quiet with no highway noise. It is a block walking distance to two different shopping centers.

Loved the location, very private and quiet. Very much appreciated the fact that the bed did not have a duvet cover but rather a sheet, blanket and bedspread so it was easy to control the temperature. Check in and out was quick and easy.

My son, and I have stayed at this property a few times over the past year while I'm being treated at Stanford's Heart Failure Clinic. During this stressful time, Tara has ALWAYS greeted us warmly and even asked how my treatment has been progressing.

She's friendly, professional, and makes sure we have everything we need during our stays. Aside from the convenience of this location, we absolutely won't stay at any other Extended Stay property in the NorCal area and Tara is a huge reason for that decision.

I'd gladly recommend this property to any my current Google engineering colleagues, and former engineers at my former company at corporate Apple, Inc.
