1. Waited at reception for an hour there was no one to attend customers
2. Room was smelly and dirty
3. AC was not working when i turn on it was making lot of noise
I checked into the hotel and went to the room. I was instantly hit with the smell of cigarettes. There were random spots of what appeared to be blood on the wall in the bedroom and bathroom. Either the toilet seat was stained or not cleaned, I didn't inspect close enough to tell the difference. The shelves on the bedroom and bathrooms walls were broken and half falling off. The lock latch on the door was busted off. The screen on the window was torn and that was all I noticed in the first 5 minutes. It looked like someone had a fight in the room, but I didn't feel safe to stay.
We promptly left the room and told the lobby attendant what we found and that we would not be staying there. They did not give us any trouble and promptly refunded our money.
Don’t stay here! Unsafe. People in the room next to me smoking weed on the balcony. Cops came and arrested a guest in a room below me. 5 cop cars. Room was horrible. AC unit was acting up. Way too loud. Carpet was disgusting. Couldn’t walk barefoot. Stay away!
Customer service is okay. Room is veru dirty. Smells like cigarette upon checking in. Someone took off the smoke detector. Stove doesnt work..carpet os so dirty.
Everything was good and the reception so polite.
Condition of the building and premises are really in bad shape, I felt like I was in the middle of a ghetto.
Breakfast offered doesn’t deserve that name, just some instant oats, coffee and hot water for tea were the only options.
One of the rules they let you know on a brochure they handout to you along the key ( card ) to open your room's door , is to be courteous, respectful and not to be noisy from 10p-8a on my 2nd night stay from 3 nights I was suppose to work on a Sunday and be there at 7a. I couldn't I had to call out from work at 4a because the fire alarm started to go off, I got scared and it hurted my ears the sound was too loud, I had to go out my room and I saw other tenants out , we were all scared. It all finished around 6a and I decided to go to the lobby for some coffee and breakfast treats, as I was there, a tenant spoke to the rep in the office and said that ppl on the 3rd floor caused the alarms to go off, apparently they were so noisy that tenant could go to sleep and they were so disrespectful. I didn't like that experience, and the garbage cans they have close to the stairways where full like they dont empty and take care of them daily, other than that my room was comfortable and clean. That I did liked and close to a dunkins Chick-fil-A and a bank.
Convenience location
The room was not clean it smelt like pee, very uncomfortable the walls are black and I would like my money back I had my 6 month old baby there I not pleased
Cleanliness was an issue, they clearly do not sweep, mop, vacuum under the bed or furniture. I moved a recliner only to find large clumps of hair and dust. I adjusted a nightstand and found the same between the nightstand and bed.
Bugs were also an issue. In a humid environment and older building I do expect to see a lot of bugs outside; however, I expect NOT to see them coming out of the walls in my bathroom or scurrying under my bed. Roaches are a fact of life, but if someone is paying to stay in your hotel it behooves you to combat infestations in your rooms.
The wall unit AC was not verry effective in keeping the room comfortable, and there were oddly exposed wires running from it.
Some of the other guests seemed to be on drugs and wandering the premises at night. It made for a rather uneasy feeling during a business trip where I really needed to be focused.
Old popcorn ceilings too, which isn't necessarily a problem, unless they contain asbestos... which judging by the state of the hotel, I'd be a little surprised if they have been tested for it.
The hotel staff banged on my door like they were the Police about 5 minutes before my checkout time to ensure I was leaving on time. Trust me guys, I had no intention of staying longer...
Showed up and waited 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk. They told me there was not a room available. Horrible experience.
The property area is across the street from a major subway/metro station (Silver line), so getting to DC is a breeze. The office is clean. The room though, is a different story. Upon entering my room, I could smell the mildew and mold. Furniture and decor are dated, but still very much usable. No bugs except for one spider in the shower. The room itself is clean. The fridge was very clean, like someone took a lot of time cleaning it. Some burnt food marks on the cooktop, but that’s to be expected for what it is. The sheets, blanket, and pillows are very clean - I couldn’t find dirty spots using my UV and black lights. The main door, however, has a gap on the bottom, and you can smell whatever your neighbors are smoking. At night, it was somewhat loud until 2am; people were walking around and moving furniture upstairs, and people were checking in late and talking loud outside. I never felt unsafe at any point. This area is well-patrolled by the Fairfax County Sheriff office. You have 3 eateries within 2 minute walking distance, but you could always Uber to the Reston Town Center for a lot more options just 5 minute drive away. Overall, I’d recommend this place for single females with kids.
Good
Convient location. However. Very loud area
Breakfast was two types of bag muffins? Front staff hard to understand, air conditioner roars on and off all night no matter how you set the fan, parking lot dirty. We won't return.

Front desk was not manned as stated and had to call out for someone. Room was clean but there was a definite strong smoke smell. Bathroom in need of repair and upgrades would be helpful. Outside was dirty and littered. Would definitely not stay again.
I think I almost got mugged in the parking
Needs maintenance. Some areas clean, some not so much. Room smelled like dog.
