The location of this hotel near historic Main Street is very pleasant in that there is a pleasant area to walk, shops, and restaurants.

The Fairfield is my 1st choice to stay while attending events in Grand Junction.

Pros:

The breakfast was good. The only thing I would like to see in more hotels for breakfast, is gluten free bread. I can't eat gluten, I have celiac. Maybe gluten free cereal.

Nice stay but improvements needed
Pros:

The front desk employee wasn't very friendly at all and the carpet in our room was extremely dirty! The breakfast was very good and hot items hot. Breakfast area was nice and clean.

Cons:

The cleanliness of our room was not up to their normal high standard.

Parking fees are $14 per day....that is ridiculous. Hotel was clean comfortable and reasonably priced

Next time we drive through Grand Junction we will return to the Fairfield.
Pros:

We loved staying downtown instead of out by the freeway. The hotel facility was great - attractive, comfortable, clean. The breakfast was outstanding with options for those of us with dietary restrictions: dairy free, gluten free. It was so fun being downtown near restaurants and shops.

Cons:

We were surprised to have to pay $14 for parking for the night.

We were only there 1 night, but would totally stay again!
