Facilities were generally clean. Some furniture was starting to look worn in the breakfast area.
Pros:

Location was great. I do believe someone put a major scratch on my backseat door sometime after dark and didn't bother to report it. I left early in the morning and did not discover it until it was later in the morning, and I had not stopped anywhere else.

Cons:

The biggest problem I found was the smell on the bedding. The pillow cases were awful! I think I had 6 pillows to choose from and I found the least smelly one to lay my head on all night long.

Comfort at a sad time.
Pros:

The breakfast was enjoyable, a wide variety of breakfast foods and still private to eat together without being crowded or noisy.

Cons:

The reason for the trip was a sudden death in my family. This was a nice comfortable escape from the struggle of the visit.

Cons:

The carpet in our room was wet and sticky. We had to wear socks the entire time because of the awful carpet. The swimming pool is incredibly small for a hotel setting. It cannot accommodate even a small family or group of people.

Pros:

Breakfast was fair. We have had better breakfasts in other LaQuinta locations.

Cons:

Overall cleanliness of the property. The overall appearance was that it was old and somewhat run down. We suspect that
this is one of the older LaQuinta properties.

the staff was sweet. the room itself was nasty, between the roaches coming out of the vent and the dead bugs in the draw

Musty smelling room
Pros:

Room smelled very musty as if water damage. We were staying one night traveling for vacation. We were travelling with a pet. Unfortunate, as we have never stayed at a LaQuinta before, so not a good first impression for future stays.
