It It did not feel safe and was not a pleasant experience.
Pros:

There was no breakfast.
The price was the only thing and probably not even worth it

Cons:

There was no breakfast - There were a lot of street people, smoking pot on the stairs- drinking, etc
The pool was shut down.
There were a lot of cockroaches in the room. It was mentioned to the staff, but nothing was done about it.
The stay was for five days and the room was never cleaned. The garbage was not emptied. We asked for clean linens and nothing was brought.
No soap or other toiletries were provided.
There was no refrigerator or microwave.
The toilet leaked so the floor was always wet. We had to put towels down to keep from falling on the wet floor.

Pros:

It was the least expensive in the area but I would have paid more for a nicer hotel

Cons:

I didn’t like the cockroaches in my room, the broken tub floor, dirty walls and unclean, external walkways and walls were dirty and unclean.
