Good stay at Best Western
Pros:

Good location for us for one night stopover to pasadena. A 10 min drive to the historic downtown, and 2 miles from Huntington gardens.

Cons:

We like breakfast to be open by 6am to get on the road early for a travel day.

The refrigerator staff nice. Location far from downtown.

Cons:

This is a weak hotel for workers and business people. Air conditioning very noisy so hard to sleep when on. Breakfast options good coffee very weak.

The rooms are nice and clean, and I like the breakfast serve served in the morning

The property was great. It was when I checked out, the female clerk was very unprofessional when I walked up to the window she looked at me like I had shit on my face, and I knew I was gonna have a problem with her and show enough I did. Don’t pay cash for your room hold because if you miss place your ID you will have a problem get your hundred dollars back. I even showed her a picture of my ID because I misplaced my ID. I also gave her my debit card to match the picture ID with my name on it and she still refused to give me my $100. So me and my three kids had to sit in the lobby for 30 minutes for her so called supervisor to check the cameras and after 30 minutes out of all of that they gave me the hundred dollars that should’ve been the first thing she said when I told her I misplaced my ID OK no problem. Let me call the supervisor so they can check the cameras instead she wanted to prove that she was running the show..

The handicap room was very difficult to work with. It had a walk-in tub, which is hard to maneuver. The toilet was ridiculous lol. The facility needs update.

Atrocious.
Cons:

I travelled internationally and pre-paid my room. When asked to give a security deposit, I offered my company card (the same one I used to pre-pay the room), I was told it couldn’t be used because it “did not have my name on it”.

But it was FINE to use online, no issues there. I had to go get cash from an atm (using the SAME card that was refused)

At no point was I EVER told about this policy OR that a security deposit was necessary (as the room was pre-paid IN FULL). Imagine what could have happened. This policy could be legitimate DANGEROUS for people traveling internationally. I could have been on the street if I anything had gone wrong.

Your policies should be criminal.

Cons:

I prepaid for a week. The day I went to check in, they said they were sold out. It was pouring outside. I had to move my family from another place and every other place was sold out. Except for a suspect motel where I believe they rent rooms by the hour. No luggage rack so I had to take several bags to the room in the pouring rain.

When I made the reservation I hit pay at property. But a couple hours later I ended up paying for it through the booking.com app. Two hours after that I went to check in at the property.
