Nice hotel
Pros:

Great location right in the middle of the historic area. You can walk to all attractions. Hotel is clean and up to date. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was more than I expected with good options hot and cold.

Pros:

This hotel is in a perfect location to visit historical sites. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast had good of and had play of options.

Perfect hotel for seeing the historical sites
Pros:

I loved my stay here. The location of this hotel cannot be beat. It's incredibly close to Independence Hall and all of the historical sites. It's across the street from The Museum of the American Revolution. The metro station (2nd street) was one block away. The room was clean and quiet, with a small fridge, and numerous outlets. Elevator was super fast. The free breakfast in the morning was pretty good (eggs, bacon, etc.). I love the Old City neighborhood. There were numerous restaurants within a block of the hotel. I would stay here again.

It’s a worthwhile choice
Pros:

Made a reservation months in advance of our two night stay. A review of the reservation a week or so before our stay showed a lower rate for one of the nights. I was able to make that change. Point being: Make an early reservation but check the room rates periodically.
Now, I strongly recommend this property: Great staff; very adequate breakfast buffet; great bathroom/toilet/shower; adequate bed and room accommodations; and, most of all, great location. Loads of restaurants nearby. Reservations a must. Had Moroccan food at Malooga. Not to be missed. Some of the city’s best restaurants are a 5-10 minute walk away. Parking at the recommended garage was a cinch. Only a short walk away. No such thing as street parking or free hotel parking in downtown. Oh, and all the tourist attractions are easily walked to.
Enjoy your stay. We’d definitely return.

Independence Park Hotel is a lovely hotel with excellent proximity to Philadelphia history and innovative shopping.
Pros:

It was well managed, with an excellent location and reasonable price. The staff was outstanding. The hotel itself was pleasing to the eye. Cookies and beverages in the evening were very much appreciated.
