Nice room, nice shower, great breakfast. Nice owner - this is where the Golden Retriever was first bred!
All good. Great hosts !!
The hotel was very friendly. Our room was so inviting. Food was really good too. Lovely stay
Thank you
Spectacular. What a wonderful historic hotel. Family run by the nicest family you could hope to meet. Incredible hiking. Beautiful Conservation Village. Skip the Isle of Skye and go to Tomich. Huge room with a King size bed and large bathroom. Try the Lamb Massaman Curry special, if available. fantastic.
Old fashioned property . Loved its character. Peter and his wife were so lovely and made sure we were catered for. Excellent breakfast. Lovely surroundings and quite private. Such a peaceful place to stay. Xx
Nice and quiet place in a traditional old village an hotel. The staff was excellent, professional and friendly. We enjoyed our time in this hotel. Breakfast was great, also th dinner. We can recommend the original Thai food.
Many thanks for the hospitality.
Room was comfortable and friendly staff. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in a leisurely location which is also the birthplace of Golden Retrievers. Relatively remote so not many food options other than hotel.
Best stay in Scotland
Friendly and efficient staff. Very welcoming. Lovely quiet room with comfortable bed. Good shower. Parking outside front door. My third stay this summer while I walk the Affric munros. Quaint little village with nearby lower walks too.
There
It was a nice place to visit in a rural conservative area, dog friendly and nice back garden for dog to walk around on lead for toilet. The breakfast was very nice and excellent chef. The distance to the loch area is only 30mins drive and nice drive too.
The staff/owners were all absolutely wonderful. They went out of their way to accommodate us. They specially made vegan meals for us. They gave us advice on places to hike. Location is wonderful, surrounded by Lochs, mountains - great hiking trails. We loved staying with them.
Absolutely beautiful hidden gem. It is off the beaten path. The beauty of the Glen Affric area is well worth the trip. Definitely not part of the tourist scene.
Beautiful place. Plodda Falls was magical. Hotel is old, but got the job done. Food in the restaurant was good. Owners took good care of us.
Great place off the main paths, very friendly staff, stay here to get to know more about Scotland and the surrounding area, over some chain hotel. Really enjoyed it. The surrounding area is great for walking.
Thai curry from the Thai chef was disappointing for dinner. Breakfast not bad
Hôtel vieillot mal entretenu. Chambres désuètes et accueil désagréable. Prix exorbitant.
It was a wonderful stay. The owners are really sweet and make you feel like home. The food and the drinks are superherb. We will come back. Recommended the Thai curry and Steak and Ale pie.
The property is dated and run down, on suite was small with the wash hand basin pushed into a corner being so small as to be useless. Breakfast was the only good thing about it. Needs a complete renovation I would not stay there again.
The hotel met our needs. It is well positioned for people visiting Glen Africc and Plodda Falls.
Very quiet and away from hustle and bustle.
