The location and cleanliness were top notch. The breakfast is delicious and the kitchen staff are very nice. The dog friendly rooms, multiple exits and toileting areas are a nice touch.
I feel like the cost isn’t worth the quality, they seem to cheapen out on everything. The sheets, bed, multiple shower liner cracked repairs (just replace it) and thin towels just don’t warrant the cost in my opinion.
I loved the location of this hotel. We were not only close to my daughter but close to Western Washington for her graduation and there was a grocery store with a Starbucks right next door. Plenty of other stores around too. Our room was quiet.
The room we were in definitely needs more lighting. Also, I felt like the carpet in that room needed a cleaning. It wasn't horrible it just didn't seem clean however, that really could have a lot to do with the poor lighting. Things look cleaner or more dirty when there's good lighting, depending.
Everything
The hotel has ample parking and is close to downtown.
The price was excessive for the quality of service you received from the hotel. The maids either never showed up or didn’t change the linens when cleaning the room.
It was on the way we drove to Vancouver. Free parking is a plus. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
The hotel feels old, and the toilet smells a bit.
Staff was very nice and prompt, reasonable location
Elevator broken, sink fixture in room was loose. Heavy chlorine smell on third floor above pool- maintenance needs training on pool and soak tub care. Owner needs to spend some money on maintenance
The bed was wonderful
Housekeeping was poor. Bed was made very sloppy without fully fresh linens. No glasses. Only decaf coffee. Just poor attention to the room. Noisy Jo
The lobby is beautiful, and I loved playing the piano that was there. It’s in good shape.
We were there for 3 nights and never got the room cleaned despite them saying they would. Rooms 131 and 132 smell of chlorine because the pool is right there.
Beds were comfortable, staff was very professional, place was clean, location was pretty central.
Facility was nice in lobby but rooms were a bit dated. Rooms were a bit noisy.
Restaurant service was good and staff were friendly and even remembered our names from day-to-day. Front desk management was knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. When they didn't have an answer, they went after getting one. The pool facility was good and the jacuzzi was a bonus. All-in-all, I would strongly consider going there again.
Room service was missed one day. As we were there for a week, this service is provided every-other day. I get it: these things happen...
Perhaps most annoying is this piece: Upon checking in, the front desk advised that I be signed up for the Marriot Bonvoy Frequent Stay points service. I said "OK" and I now regret doing so. Both my wife's phone and my phone have been barraged by phone calls for incentive programs and the like. MOST ANNOYING! I'm going to cancel out of it. Marriot has fine hotels, but I don't need them to be in-my-face about it.
Good location, easy parking, very friendly staff.
Facilities are lacking, need to be updated. Food was good but there’s nothing that complimentary expect for coffee and water
This is the first time I have written a review. Though the hotel itself was nice, rooms were nice, amenities were nice, clean, and nice outside environment. The hotel staff was very rude. I counted 5 times that they were rude (possibly inadvertently). I calmly expressed this sentiment on my way out. I didn't expect an argument especially because I was expressing my views calmly and openly. The young man behind the counter was very aggressive towards me. He never acknowledged my complaints, nor apologized with a "that was not our intention, I am sorry that you felt that way". He became aggressive, told me he disagreed with me, and that he did not accept what I was saying, walked me to the door to leave, told me i needed to "reflect", walked in the back to find someone ( I guess to help him) while I was trying to ask him if my hotel receipt was sent to my email. I finally got an answer to that question, and left. I would have been fine with just plain old customer service and even dismissed the 4 other times that there was a lack of customer service. . The last encounter actually felt threatening to me. I have never had this type of experience. It was very disturbing. Pretty hotel and area though. I won't want to return there.
Location is great, did not have breakfast
