Please note that linen is not changed daily. For stays over seven days, linen is changed on the fourth day of stay and then weekly after. For stays of less than seven days, there will be no linen changes. However, towels and bedding are available from the reception at no extra cost.

A cleaning service is available upon request for stays of less than 7 nights at an additional charge of GBP 35 for one-bedroom apartments, and GBP 45 for two-bedroom apartments.

A complimentary cleaning service is offered on the 4th day for stays of one week or more, and once a week thereafter.

Disappointing not worth the money.

Location was good. When we arrived their system was down and we left our bags and came back later in the evening. We purchased a twin room but were given a double and had to wait an hour whilst they made the room into a twin after a long exhausting day this was not ideal. The receptionist asked my name three times and then when I wrote my email address down proceeded to say a completely different name I’m unsure where she got the random name from when I had repeated myself three times. Listening when people are speaking is basic manners.

The room itself is extremely odd everything is electric for example the light switches the shutter for the window and the AC which worked and didn’t work. This was frustrating as it became extremely hot without the AC and we had to open the window door which had no curtains so it was either unbearable heat or light into the room. The window itself was floor to ceiling so everyone from the street could see into the room.

There were plugs next to the bed but no side table? So where they expected you to hang your phone or anything else I’m unsure on the floor or on the very small bed? Ironing board but no iron and no phone in the room? Tried to call them from the number online but it went through a call centre and then rang out also annoying.

The floor was damaged in the room with scuffs and looked dirty.

For the price I’ve never stayed in such a poorly equipped room with very uncomfortable heating and window design. Even if we were in the room just to sleep I could spend half the price for travel lodge and probably had a better sleep.

Breakfast wasn’t great and when we went down at 9.45 she said I’m packing up at 10am so you have 15 mins. I’ve never stayed in a hotel where they don’t allow you to at least get your food and eat is slowly it wasn’t as though there was even a restaurant you had to eat in the reception?

Pros:

Location was great and easy to find, great view of the castle from our room.

Cons:

Could add another mirror in the bathroom, hand held or small one on a stand to use as the mirror is set far back behind the sink and the only other mirror is behind the bedroom door.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Lovely modern hotel in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle with easy access to all the local attractions.
The staff were first class and the rooms include a kitchenette with cooking facilities, a fridge and a dishwasher etc.
Although situated near the Grasmarket and all its bars and restaurants etc there was no noise when trying to sleep and blackout blinds made a difference in these light nights.
I would definitely stay here again if in Edinburgh and indeed I’ll look for Wilde aparthotels for future city breaks,

Amazing Stay
Pros:

Exceptional staff. From check in to questions to directions, they were amazing. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. They are a short walk from the Grassmarket and gave great views of the castle

I would like to have better instructions about the lights and cooling system
