Located in a thriving eating and shopping hub, close to different train and underground lines, great view from our 23rd-floor room, very handy coin laundry.
Bed was a tad soft for our liking and the room at the lower end of Japanese hotel room sizes.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. Its proximity to the Ueno transportation hub ensures easy access to Narita Airport (via the Skyliner) and the entire Tokyo metropolitan area. It’s close to the University of Tokyo. The hotel rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards, though of course you shouldn’t expect huge spaces (a decent 15 m²).
The hotel is conveniently located within a reasonable walking distance of Ueno Station, making it easily accessible. It is also just a short walk from Ueno Market, where you can explore a variety of shops and eateries. Another great convenience is the 24-hour 7-Eleven located right next to the hotel, making it easy to grab snacks, drinks, or other essentials at any time of the day or night.
The hotel lobby is located on the 20th floor, which can be a little inconvenient due to the waiting time for the lifts. During busy periods, especially when there are many guests waiting, it can take quite some time for a lift to arrive. If the lift is already full, you may have to wait for the next one, which can be frustrating, particularly when you're in a hurry.
The staff was very helpful and the location was accessible to shops and sights.

My family of four had a wonderful stay. The staff were helpful. Our room was bigger than I anticipated and had all the amenities we needed. The location is fantastic and was a great choice for our first experience in Japan. Would recommend and stay again.

A little dated, but still very nice
Very nice views of the city and walking distance to train stations and also a lot of restaurants and shops near the area. Very close to everything.
The bed and pillows were a bit hard and couldn’t sleep well because of that.

首先飯店的地理位置很好，而且風景也很棒，服務人員都非常的熱情且溝通上沒有問題。
冷氣很多灰塵沒清潔，吹風機也是灰塵沒清潔，浴室通風口也都是灰塵沒有清潔。因此床上跟地板以及各地都很多灰塵會落下，時常會看到黑色的灰塵落在任何地方，因此也導致我過敏不舒服。另外因為連續住7晚，在第四天房務清潔人員那天沒有補充紙盒的衛生紙，房間及浴室的垃圾筒的塑膠袋都沒有補充新的。
