This would have been excellent value if the bedding had been more comfortable and suitable.
Pros:

The room was larger than expected, clean and well presented. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional.

Although we did not have the opportunity to try the restaurant or buffet breakfast, the restaurant smelt inviting. We were also informed about the gym and pool facilities.

Cons:

The in-room amenities were minimal. Basic toiletries, slippers and a coffee machine were provided, but there was no toaster, minibar, spare pillows or extra blankets.

The biggest disappointment was the bedding. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the pillows were high, hard and lumpy. There was no doona or warm blanket, only layered sheets.

Although we had the heating on, we kept it low because the fan bothered us and we are not accustomed to sleeping with heating that dries out the air. Without adequate bedding, my daughter was freezing throughout the night.

Extra blankets may have been available through reception, but guests should not have to call and wait for someone to enter their room when they are trying to sleep. At least one spare blanket per bed should be provided in the room.

Comfortable bed. Nice staff. Easy check in and out.

Cons:

TV kept losing reception - see photo. Room service food was cold. No water pressure in shower.

Pros:

Nice layout to my room with a small balcony area. Very clean and comfy, large bed. Easy free 2hr parking on the street, perfect for overnight.

The Burwood area is a great area to stay
Pros:

Very nice place, the Burwood area is absolutely beautiful

Cons:

Central with Burwood train station only a couple hundred metres away. The motel has cinemas, Westfields, restaurants, cafes, Pubs and clubs all just a moments walk away.
