Over priced and in need of new housekeeping
Pros:

Unfortunately the 1st room we had, was dirty with food on the floor and also on the bed. We were offered a second room where I found a dirty band aid and someone's old contact lenses. The floor under bed was dusty. On the 3rd night a vent over my bed emptied lots of dust all over my bed!!!

The rooms were dirty not cleaned properly

Lovely location and atmosphere
Pros:

Great location, very close to the gondola which made everything easy and convenient. The hotel itself is well-equipped and has everything you need, with a nice, friendly atmosphere throughout our stay.

Cons:

Housekeeping was disappointing. There is no regular cleaning schedule, and guests have to request cleaning in advance. Even after requesting it, the service was minimal — beds were made but sheets weren’t changed, and there was no proper cleaning of floors or bathroom. For a week-long stay, more consistent and thorough cleaning would be expected.

Fabulous staff, great location & breakfast.
Pros:

Access to train station, close to the cable car and lake.
Sauna was excellent.

Cons:

We kept hitting our head on the lamp in the middle of the room and would have preferred to not have that light. We also didn’t understand the styling in the room of the carriage rails as it seemed to over cater for hanging items which were already catered for in the cupboard space.

Voss er et fantastisk sted - hotellet har en perfekt beliggenhet. Få ansatte til å smile!!

Topp beliggenhet! Perfekt frokost - velassortert, delikat og god !!

Cons:

Spurte etter sikkert nett, men fikk beskjed om at det ikke var mulig. Det var kaldt på rommet da vi kom - på spørsmål fikk vi til svar at varmen ikke ble koblet på før vi aktiverte nøkkelen. Temperaturen kunne økes/senkes med inntil 3 grader, men i resepsjonen visste de ikke hva som var utgangspunkt - kanskje 18 eller 19 grader. Vi hadde med digital temp.måler, som først neste morgen viste 20 grader etter at vi hadde øket med 3 grader da vi ankom ca 19.30.
Etter ankomst gikk vi i spisesalen for middag. Et stykke inn i spisesalen ble vi møtt av den vi tror var hovmester med beskjed om at vi skulle vente ved inngangen for å bli vist til bord, og at det sto skilt som informerte om det. Dette ble formidlet på en langt fra vennlig måte, og selv om vi var sikre på at det ikke var noe skilt der, lusket vi "slukøret" tilbake til inngangen for å vente.
Skiltet var satt til side, og vendt med teksten bakover og ut mot siden - overhode ikke mulig å se. Da vi ga beskjed til servitør om hovmesters oppførsel, beklaget hun. Maten var god.
Personalet - bortsett fra én melaninrik - har overhodet ikke forstått hva et "God morgen" og et smil kan bety. Finnes det kurs for personalet i å smile/se gjestene ?? Eneste plass for oppheng av tøy lenger enn en damebluse var på en stang som gikk tvers over sengen ved hodeputene.... for å komme opp der måtte man stå i sengen, og bunaden berørte nesten ansiktet da vi hadde lagt oss. De fire bitte små knaggene innenfor døren trengtes til vått yttertøy - man er tross alt på Vestlandet..... På spørsmål i resepsjonen ved avreise ble det svart at innredningen ikke helt er som den burde være for å dekke et praktisk behov. Veldig bra med parkering i bygget. Vi har opplevd ved parkering i andre hotellers garasje at hotellet har avtale med parkeringsselskapet om fast døgnpris for sine gjester med full mulighet for inn- og utkjørsel flere ganger.

Location which was excellent

Cons:

It is almost ridiculous, that there is no access to the hotel with the car. If you are on a family trip and have a lot of luggage, ski equipment, bike etc, prepare yourself for a challenge as there is no possibility for dropp off of your stuff in front of the hotel

Cons:

Dobbelseng bestillte jeg. Det er ikke 2 enkeltsenger som sklir fra hverandre. Dumt når det skjer ved kroniske ryggsmerter.
