Prior to arriving, I performed the online check in, it test charged my card, uploaded my photo ID, and signed everything. Got to the counter and I was asked for photo ID (this is good) but then they wanted to go through the entire process all over again. Then then told me there was a $100 security deposit that they would return 5-7 days after my 1 day stay. I am a Wyndam rewards Platinum member for the past 10 years. Place smelled like weed and I decided to cancel and find another Wyndam property near by. I've stayed here before but never again.
I spent one night at the hotel and in the morning 6:50am, my room had no water pressure. There wasn’t even enough water to wash my hands or flush the toilet. I called the front desk immediately. They said they would have a maintenance person check on it right away and call me back in 5 minutes. By the time I left the hotel, around 7:30am, the water was still not on, neither did anyone from the hotel front desk try to call me. Before I left the hotel, I spoke to the person at the front desk about a refund. Their response was there was no manager on duty. Since being home, I have reached out numerous times by phone at different times of the day. Sometimes there is no one at the front desk to even answer the phone. If I do speak to someone there is never a manager on duty, but they say a manager will call me. As of today, four days later, I have received no calls from them.
This hotel has a nice pool area. It has slides and shallow pool, which is great for smaller kids. It also has a small hot tub. The pool area was extremely packed the entire afternoon/evening until closing. One of the kids with us cut her foot on the bottom of the pool. There were also some complaints about the water being really cold.
The rooms are smaller and outdated. In need of a lot of small repairs everywhere. Paint chipping everywhere. Worn out furniture. One of our rooms had a very glitchy door and it took several attempts to get it to open.
There doesn't seem to be someone that actually stays at the front desk but ringing a bell brings them in a few minutes.
The reason I picked this hotel was that we would get 2 poolside CONNECTING rooms. This is one of the few hotels that I found with connecting rooms. However, there are 2 levels of rooms that are poolside. Being on the second level, we had all of the noise and humidity of being poolside but not actually the benefit of walking out of your room to the pool.
Overall, this is a lower end hotel that has some good amenities if you have kids.
I had a very frustrating stay and would not recommend this place.
My first room (257) smelled strongly of cigarettes. It was so bad that I didn’t even unpack—I immediately went back to the front desk to request a different room.
The second room (234) had a leaking sink, which made it unusable and again forced me to move.
The third room (168) was just as unacceptable. There was no phone, no remote, and the patio door had to be forced open and closed, which felt both unsafe and inconvenient.
To make matters worse, the hospitality was just as poor as the room conditions. One staff member told me it was okay to have food on the patio, but later another staff member yelled at me about it. The lack of communication and professionalism was very disappointing.
Overall, this experience felt unorganized, poorly maintained, and unwelcoming. I expected much better.
I was looking for a reasonable priced room because I was staying for a week while I visit my sister who is in memory care. The hotel is shabby and outdated, but it's clean and provides breakfast.
It was quiet, comfortable and that is what I needed! The weekend brought additional noise, but it quieted down in the evening. The only downfall was the restaurant connected. Horrible service, music and pricing! I did have a pizza and it was ok!
Nice clean room, tho old looking hotel, not modernized in a while, reception looks old and unwelcoming with dirty couches, no ice machine of the 6 we tried worked, my key never worked , had to call them each time but they were kind and helpful to check it out, they only have green tea, coffee and hot chocolate for breakfast and at reception, no other tea options or creamer. Should be downgraded to a motel 6. Wasn’t worth $90
Old hotel, expensive. Sliding glass door from our room to the pool was nearly impossible to open, carpet peeling up in the halls.
Ease of check in
Mis information online cause the room to not have enough beds for all guest. The room was suppose to have 2 queens and a sofa bed for 3 adults. When talked to receptionist about the issue and asked to see if the hotel can offer any kind of assistance they offered a roll away bed which was fine but the room was too small to fit the roll away bed. So we asked if they can either move us to a bigger room or allow us to book another room at a discounted price instead we only had the choice to either sleep uncomfortably then file a complaint in the morning attempting to ask for a discount for the night, cancel our booking or book an extra room at full price for the other 1 person to sleep. This was already 10pm by the time we checked in. Sounds like they were more worried about money then customer service at this point because we were literally told its the weekend so they were confident they will be fully booked by the end of the night even if we cancel our booking. So we decided to cancel our room and booked else where.
Kids got stuck in the bathroom for 5 minutes we couldn’t get the door open I tried to call the desk no answer at check out I asked for manager and to call me and I received no call back
Breakfast was nor too good. Waffle for the entire 8 days
Nothing maybe convenience
The first room they gave me smelt like smoke and the remote did not work. Got switch to a different room that looked over the water park (pool) and the paint was peel on the bottom of the kiddie pool play area and the hot tub was cold
