Cons:

We stayed for five days.
The room was comfortable and the location was convenient. However, our entire stay was overshadowed by a serious privacy incident on the morning of check-out.
At around 9:30 a.m., while we were still occupying the room and before we had checked out, a housekeeper suddenly opened our door without knocking or announcing herself. My partner and I were both completely naked at the time. We immediately reported the incident but received only a brief apology.
Earlier in our stay, after requesting the limited housekeeping service, we also found rubbish from the dustbin scattered over the clothes in my open suitcase.
Mistakes can happen, but what disappointed us most was how the incidents were handled. Being seen naked without our consent was deeply distressing, and we felt the seriousness of the situation was not acknowledged.
The location is good, but there are many hotels in the same area. Based on our experience, we would choose another hotel next time.

Nice facilities, not so stellar staff.
Pros:

Loved the beds, pillows, washer drier in room and breakfast.

Cons:

Really needed staff to make a call for us for a local reservation in advance in Japanese and they would not do it and said they do not offer that assistance. It wasn’t even a reservation type where a credit card or prepayment was needed, just a call in and leave your name and number of people type thing.

Also the bathrooms feel like they belong in a trailer park. All sort of an enclosed unit placed in the rooms. Floor, walls, etc feel bouncy and cheap.

Clean, with good accessories and excellent breakfast.
Pros:

The rooms had good accessories and appliances-- they even provided shoe dryers!
The breakfast was excellent.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk lent us a clothes iron.

Cons:

The power would turn off if you didn’t leave a key card in a slot near the front of the room (I don't think this affected refrigerator, but I wasn't completely sure).
