The hotel has 2 car parks that are located outside the city walls. Guests arriving between 13:00 and 20:00 can be greeted at the car park.

Lovely traditional hotel and a great welcome from all the staff.Our room was quiet and comfortable .The breakfast was very good with lots of tasty food and scrambled eggs made to order.The coffee was excellent and a special thanks to the brekfast staff who were super friendly and helpful
The hotel lives up to its name with its medieval decor. The location in the middle of the medival city is unique and authentic. It is exactly what you would expect. The staff were very friendly. Getting to the hotel is an adventure ride in the shuttle and part of the fun. The drivers are awesome. The personal courtyard was a dream. The bed and pillows were fine for one night. The room is surprisingly spacious with adaquate storage space and large bathroom. TV was ok.
The shower is not ergonomic, there is nowhere to attach the hand held part so you cannot have a hands-free shower. Also if you have mobility issues the tub may be difficult to step into.
It was very stuffy at night. The temperature controls didn't work even when the staff member remotely lowered it. We opened the French doors to get some air circulation.
Getting back by foot at night from the La Bastide (lower town) there are no lights on the path. I did also enjoy this because it was a very authentic adventure but it is not exactly the safest ground to walk on in the dark and when it's wet. More clear signage would be welcomed. Google maps stuggles to triangulate within the walls of the city.
I would recommend they insist on sending a car for you at the train station when you arrive. It is a hassel to get a taxi to take you up to the shuttle.
I like the dated decor for the authenticity but some pieces could use some sprucing up. Also in the rooms there is no usb charging.
There were no ghosts ( or at least we didn't see them ... )

Llegamos tipo 19:00 de la tarde y al entrar a la habitación nos dimos cuenta que estaba usada.
Le dijimos al recepcionista y solucionaron todo rápido…pero de igual forma deja inquietud al respecto sobre la limpieza del lugar.

Central location in the old city and lovely helpful staff, the hotel was quiet and peaceful and our suite was a great size for us and our dog.
It would be good for the TV to be able to access English channels, it did seem to have BBC news but the reception wasn’t great and sometimes wouldn’t load, there were a number of English and American tourists in the city and I’m sure that a few more channels when you are in the room in the evening would be better.
