Very friendly staff, exellent breakfast. Wanted a quiet room and it was given to me. Big free parking lot.
Hotel has great parking, and good restaurant which is very convenient. Swimming pool is in the natural shade.
AC in the room was very noisy. Breakfast was very poor, almost nothing left in 8.30 am. Swimming pool needs renovation...
General areas were nice. Pool and restaraunt area also, stuff friendly and helpful. We didnt tried spa and other facilities it was short stay.
Kids playground is not in safe area, food and service is mediocre. Room had a unpleasant smell and windows where very dirty.

Unfortunately the maintanance in hotel not exist. Since 2019 we are visiting Gardenia, we like place, hospitality and staff very much, but hotel every year looking worser. It is really pitty and we are very, very sad.

Location was good. Plenty of parking space. Breakfast was ok. Restaurant, within the hotel, is affordable and offers good food.
We were very surprised to see this was a 5 star hotel, considering the fact that there were hair strands left on the bathroom floor, water was leaking everytime we flushed the toilet, carpet was full of stains, spider web in the wall corner. Also the power socket by the door was sticking a bit out of the wall. WiFi wasn't working well.
We were also surprised with the spa working hours. The spa and the outdoor pool close at 7pm, but it isn't stated anywhere on the booking description.
Considering a lot of people stay in this hotel for one night to take a rest from travel, it would make more sense for the spa to work a bit later in the night. Overall, this hotel has a lot of potential, but it looks as if hasn't been maintained in a long time.
To summarise, we were most unhappy with the lack of cleanliness you would expect in a hotel. Would not come here again.
Everything was great — the service, hospitality, food, and overall experience.
