Welcoming, courteous, clean, quiet, and safe for females and Muslims, too. I was very grateful my luggage was carried upstairs as I struggled with lifting the luggage and my bags. Highly recommend! Great value for the price I paid, which was less than half of what my fellow colleagues paid at Holiday Inn.
Great location for where I needed to be but the kitchen was out of action (no indication when booking) and the room did not have blackout curtains. The blinds in rm3 were also broken so the early morning sunlight was not a welcome early wake up call.
Great welcome nice room great location.
Was nicely greeted at the hotel for an out of hours check in (23:59) Duty manager went above and beyond for me.
Good facilities.
Felt that the room could have been a little more thoroughly cleaned.
Enjoyed the stay overall.
very friendly, clean, nice tea coffee and biscuits in room tray.
Good quality, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap. we will stay again. we were offered tea coffee on arrival which was nice to have welcome drinks.
Absolutely terrible experience. Reception area has lots of random furniture scattered around which was already a bit of a red flag. Room was filthy - bin was not emptied, bedsheets were stained, bathroom was smelly, moldy and FILTHY as seen on the photos I took. After 19+ hours of travelling all I wanted to do was get some rest, but I did not have the guts to shower in the morning. I gave it two stars because staff was great, very understanding of my situation, offered a drink upon arrival and helped with general questions.
I stayed with my family at this lovely hotel. We were very pleased with the customer service and cleaned rooms. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant provides a good variety and healthy meals and the atmosphere is very pleasant and beautiful. The location of the hotel is comfortable for commuting and not too far from city centre.
I’m stopping at this hotel for a couple of months four nights a week and my room is beautiful well decorated very clean comfortable and warm The owner Mohammed is so friendly and will help you out with anything that you need, would recommend this hotel and to be honest I don’t understand a few negative reviews, it’s home from home and everything you need. Plus the owner if needed would wash and dry your clothes as an extra free of charge. Outside your hotel there’s plenty of parking spaces it’s in Acocks Green village which has all the shops and pubs necessary just a two minute drive or a five minute walk. my room is ensuite but I do believe some rooms have bathroom and shower just outside your room if you have a preference but I’ve seen the bathrooms very large and spacious and also very clean. I am a seasoned traveller been travelling for 40 years in construction so please don’t take note of the negative reviews this hotel is very nice and homely and very clean.
Stayed two nights with another person to visit Birmingham. Staff was very friendly. Very good location. Room was pretty dirty, and bathroom was very "old".
Pro: location, price, friendly staff.
Con: room was dirty, size of rooms, bathroom.
The hotel is very central to everything and has limitied parking, the staff are really lovely, however the hotel leaves a lot to be desiried, We stayed for 4 days in Oct 2021 and while we were there, no one called to our room to change our sheets, to give us fresh towels, twe had a kettle in our room but no one replaced the tea/coffee or milk, The room was cold, the bed had a lumpy mattresse, the ceiling had a big damp stain, the window blinds were broken and extremely flimsy so offered no darkness in the moring to sleep, , the throw at the end of the bed had a hole in it, the bathroom was awful, no window and poor light, apart from the staff who are really really lovely, this hotel is not one I would recommend.
It was very easy to find and cheap for the price very clean and tidy room staff was very friendly and assistive safe and plenty of car park near to the airport and all other facilities authentic afghani food by the way
Well happy we booked here 👍
Stayed one night as visiting a friend in Birmingham. The hotel has the creakiest floorboards. You literally cannot stand anywhere without it creaking. People were walking around the whole night and could hear people talking all night. Got no sleep and felt rubbish so had to cancel plans the next day. Ruined our trip to Birmingham.
Cosy and quiet, easy check in and out. Thanks.
It was a very small room. With no toilet or shower
We booked Ababeel as it was very close to Birmingham airport and offered a cheap price for a 1 night stay.
Ababeel was easy to find and was in a safe neighbourhood. Parking was easy and plentiful in front of main entrance. The manager greeted us warmly and offered us assistance with our luggage. Checking in was smooth and you can pay by cash or card.
Our room was up 2 flights of stairs, and the room wasn't en suite. But toilet and shower room were within short walk across a corridor. The showers and toilet room were very clean and well decorated. Well stocked and facilities worked perfectly.
Our room was well furnished and clean. The bed was big and comfortable. The heating worked well. Television had plenty of channels. There was a sink basin in the room for brushing teeth.
One downside was that the restaurant in the ground floor was closed for refurbishment so we didn't get to sample what would've been great Pakistani food. In any case it's a 5 minute walk to the town centre where there's plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants with affordable prices.
The hotel's great for pre or post airport usage. Glad we booked it.
Easy to find and parking in the back for quite a few cars and a mini bus. My tour guide was also staying at this place and checked us in. First impressions were great, nice clean room with en-suit. I ordered food from the receprionist at the same time as this place also has a restaurant downstairs. It was nice and quite with only a few guests, food and service was excellent. I also had a chat with the receptionist, sorry didnt catch your name, but guessing its (Aisha) after reading some of the reveiws for the restautant. Thanks for the chat btw, she is a wonderful person with a lovely smile. Wish the world was full of more people like her.
