You will want to extend your stay at Emens
Pros:

Vicinity to supermarket, main attractions for example bazzaar, Smyrna Agorası, seaside, one station from konak. 30 mins taxi from airport.

Underground,, tram station, Basmane station just around the corner.

Many resturants to eat. There's a money exchange across the street. Many cats around the hotel.

Hotel Breaksfast is superb, a variety of food and drinks to choose from. Even after breakfast hour, water and the coffee machine are still available.

You can join local tour to Ephesus and Pamukkale by enrolling from the hotel. Euro 100 each for your reference. Pick up from hotel at 7:30am. I joined tour to Ephesus and it's a good one!

Staff are all very nice and polite. I love everything in Izmir . Good place for vacation.

Room is spacious, cleam and the shower is good. Just one thing, if you want shower and shampoo, u may need to bring one yourself, they are using 2 in 1.

Im sure u will enjoy your stay at Emens hotel.

Good for the area, but would not come back
Pros:

Clean, every tourist attraction is located within 30min by foot. Very close to the train station.
Breakfast was good.
The area is very local, with shops, hotels and pubs. It can be intimidating at night because there is not much light or people, but we minded our business and even found nice çorba and pastry places open all day nearby.

Cons:

When we arrived, the reception clerk insisted that we had not paid for our reservation online and wanted me to pay on the spot. I had to argue and show different proofs that I had already paid a month before via Booking. It left a bad first impression. Except for the bell boy, the rest of the staff never said hello or enquired about our satisfaction during our stay.
The noise isolation was quite bad.
There is a big bird inside the smallest cage in the restaurant. It stays here all day, stares at people eating without making a noise, and at night the cage is covered. We felt really bad for the poor animal.
Overall, next time we come we will choose another hotel.

Highly recommend this central hotel
Pros:

Lovely varied breakfast. Comfortable public areas. Attentive staff. Location close to the central park, which was lovely for an evening walk.

Should have stayed longer
Pros:

Super hotel close to where we needed to be. Valet parking was a big bonus as street parking in this busy area is difficult.
All the staff were welcoming and courteous.
The room was excellent. Clean with everything we needed for our one night stay and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Thoroughly enjoyed it and it set us up for the day!
Absolutely recommend and would book again if we come to Konak again.

Comfortable stay with a great breakfast!
Pros:

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to tram and metro stops and an easy walk from the marina. There were loads of delicious breakfast options.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral ist durch die Seitenstrasse auch noch so laut.
Das Personal ist immer gut gelaunt und sehr hilfsbereit.
