The property is located within walking distance to many shops, cafes, and reasonable parking. It was clean and newly refurbished.
We stayed in Room 104, which was sold as large enough for 3 people when, in fact, it is really large enough for one adult and one child. It was impossible to move with all three of us together, which meant that we had to take shifts getting dressed or doing anything really. The bed for 2 people is up against the wall, which required one person to climb over the other to get out of the bed. My daughter climbed up the ladder and stayed up there to give us room to move. It was disheartening to learn from the front desk staff that booking through a 3rd party usually led to the smaller room getting booked, and that I should have called to ask if they had a larger room. The room was clean, but there is hardly any space to put anything—the sink was so small that it hardly had room to hold a toothbrush. This room was more than $500 for two nights, way too expensive for what felt like the inside cabin of a cruise ship.
This was one of our best stays! It was a great central location. We love walking and could easily get to Salem in an hour over the bridge. Lots of restaurants around. The property was very very clean and smelled great.
Only thought is that the bathroom didn’t have a fan. Otherwise perfect stay
The Cabot has the unique feel of a charming European accommodation. The place is kept spotlessly clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and everything felt up-to-date and new. Unexpected touches were: fun, complementary snacks and water, a fridge and freezer in the common area for guest use, and a sound machine exactly like the one I use each night. It is located next to some fabulous eateries and coffee shops, parks, and waterfront, as well as a lovely gift shop across the street. I walked the area at night and felt safe. And the parking is convenient and inexpensive! Was a lovely visit and would highly recommend!
I liked everything!
Staff where great and very helpful, room was clean and in a good location close to the train station
Room was too small
Great location, super friendly, helpful, and responsive front desk host. Cozy environment. Felt like a home away from home.

Well thought out. Good use of space. Clean
Cramped, difficult to access 2nd sleeping space. Cold on floor level, hot in loft.
The staff.
No one around after 5pm.
Everything, extremely clean, small but very comfortable!! I actually really like the microtel feel. It was in the most perfect area close to shops and restaurants. There is also a gas station across the street. Would recommend to anyone!
nothing, it was great
Looking for a place to stay with little frills but with a bit of class. Rooms are small but super clean. Value for the price is unmatched. Not the Ritz but a safe and clean place to stay. Thumbs up.
Amazing boutique hotel. Wonderful staff. Short walk to many bars, restaurants and short drive to Salem or even Boston.
Staff extremely helpful, free water, tea & coffee and location was good in the lovely town of Beverly. Price was extremely fair for it being during the World Cup.
Rooms were small but that would be my only complaint
